Looking For "Alternators Bumblebee" Sketch Pics

I was recently talking to someone about the never-produced Alternators version of Bumblebee (i.e. the "New Beetle" version), and I wanted to show the concept sketches. The website where I originally found them ("Binalternators") is now closed, and I haven't been able to find the pics anywhere else. Does anybody know of a site that might still have them?

Thanks,
Glarryg

I'll give you the welcome I never got...

SEIBERTRON CONTAINS NUTS!!!

As for Alt Bumblebee, I have never seen such a sketch, but you can search through Seibertron's news articles and you may find it. Hope that helps! :-P

there was a scetch actualy, it came from a booklet that showed quite a few alt design concepts, but that surely was lost in the board crash, i think i copied the pic, and burnt it to disk, if i can find it ill upload it.

but somebody else could always beat me to it~

That looks brilliant! Damn Volkswagon and their whole anti-war thing. Looks ten times better than Ultimate Bumblebee

The design was slightly altered and released as classics Bumblebee. Note the rear wheel inside the body and the seats on the thighs.

Thanks, Dough-Bot!

Yeah, that would have been the greatest if they had actually made that. Bumblebee was always my favorite; even though I like the Classics version, too, I die a little inside every time I think about how much cooler it would have been as a New Beetle.

Stupid Volkswagon...just because you sold a car to Hitler once, doesn't mean the world will hold it against you if you make a Transformer.

I play happily with my G1 Bumblebee sitting at my desk with happy memories of the god old days before Trademark infridgement common sense went out the window.

When I become blindingly rich, I'm going to load up a VW Bug with an arse load of guns and a big ol turret on top and drive it right up to VW head office... proving.. well nothing. It'll just be one of those in your face things before they eventually sue me and win.

Cliffjumper looked better anyways... ;)^

From what i can see, the front of the Beetle becomes the feet, the front tires twist in to become the heals.. Front seats become thighs. Rear of car becomes chest. I'm guessing roof of car is on the back. It would have been a great TF.

Such a shame really.

While that would indeed be cool, I think there are a large number of G1 enthusiasts that would still have died a little inside with that...
