Went to a car parts swap meet today with my Dad for father's day, it was loads of fun! Got me some new rims for my car at a very nice price.

Also found 5 of these guys below. got em all for $6. Blurr is just missing the gun, Tankor the gun, and OP needs a little work, as the back mechanism needs taken apart and redone, and he's missing his missiles and meat cleaver, but otherwise fun!

And then I found the Prime Masters at Walmart on my way home. Now down to just the wave 2 deluxes...

I finally got rid of ALL my remaining Magic The Gathering cards. Even though 95% of my old cards were complete garbage, I still got a few hundreds of $. So I paid myself a little treat at my local geek shop:

G1 Point Blank and Gettaway. Both 100% complete. I really love both of these guys. Point Blank being even rarer than I thought. Expensive, yes, but oh so worth it! Also got POTP Prime Master Alpha Trion. I'll open him when the Pretender Landmine I ordered will arrive. An unexpected find was Universe Dephtcharge! Only missing one single disk. For the price I paid, I had to finally get this mold. And man, the thing have massive amount of paint and is ginormous! Plus the Universe version look WAY better than the BW original. I never knew it existed! His transformation was fun to figure out.



Oh yeah, also got the Zetta Jazzy. I'll talk about it later in the 3P thread.

TlDr; Today was a good day.

Woah! Awesome finds, Kanrabat! Especially Point Blank and Getaway. That Universe Depth Charge is pretty cool. I think have more fondness for his original deco, but that’s because that’s the one I had as a kid. It’s still awesome though.

Just having some fun

So I ended up buying a Titans Return Misfire off Amazon at scalper prices since like many people I've never seen one in stores. But here's the catch, I've been saving up Microsoft Reward points over the last few months and earned enough to cash in $20 worth of Amazon gift cards, effectively bringing Misfire down to a normal retail price. And because it was sold by an Amazon seller rather than directly from Amazon I didn't have to pay tax.

I also picked up a marked down TR Octone giving me one of every use of the Voyager Optimus Prime mold between Hasbro and Takara Tomy plus a modified ToyHax Action Master Prime. Misfire and Octone together only came to just over $36.

Just watch those "knee" joints, there's actually a fair amount of pressure in those springs that will eventually cause the screw to pop. (Common problem)

Also, congrats on your first Action Master! However, it's not really a good one, but eh, novelty. I'm still looking for a complete Tracks for less than 200$....

Eh, the Action Masters were never a blip on my radar. But lo and behold, in less than a month I had a 99% complete collection! All for random junk trade-ins! Only some Euro dude is missing, plus the elusive and absurdly expensive Tracks.

You never know when such a chance can land on your lap, guys!

Exactly. They're not a high priority to me, if I don't complete them it's no biggie, I'm happy with my G1 collection as it is, but if the opportunity arises and the price is right, I'll grab them up.

Some online orders are finally in.

From Mandrake, I got a Takara Botshot Jetfire and a legend/legion Thundercracker. Plus a very nice Max Factory Kagamine Rin Meltdown figure. I'll talk more about her OVER HERE.

From Ebay, I got a 100% complete and in very acceptable shape G1 Landmine. Now my Prime Master have his "daddy". I'm showing him off in more details in the PRETENDER THREAD.



I'm pretty sure that Botshot Jetfire never appeared outside Japan..... Or I forgot about it. Do I already have it but it's deep in storage? Argh, no matter. I "wynaut" that Jetfire and I like it. I didn't expect that the Takara version had no game stats on his chest piece.

NOW I'm pretty sure I don't have any more official "G1" Jetfire transformable toys to get.


As for TC, I love my classic legion Starscream but I missed a sealed TC version for my collection. I saw it on Mandrake for dirt cheap and I grabbed him. Well, "package damaged" was true for once. The card is messed up and there's Japanese stickers all over this Hasbro packaging. Oh well. I'll replace it if I get the chance. BTW, he come with two guns for reasons. There's another important sealed TC coming later from Mandrake as well. I'll post about it..... in a month....

Very, VERY understandable. And at least, achievable.

Just bought Power of the Primes Jazz. He's amazingly good looking but he gave me quite a scare. The packaging was so tight his roof hinge behind his head became detached and i almost thought i had a broken toy.

But hes fine now.

Got me an ebay haul today. Not Waspinator, I already had him, but he is super excited for my haul. I wonder what it could be?

Got the 4 pack at less that regular retail for 4 deluxes, even after shipping, so i'm pleased and so is Waspinator.

It is also my first experience with the Waspinator T30 minicon/target master mold. Wow does it suck. Probably won't be using them except for playing in city mode, and even then as cannon fodder.

I saw that, and I am so pissed at everything that has gotten us to this point. At this rate, my Volcanicus upgrade kit will arrive before I ever get a wave 2 deluxe. The 3 non dinobots are sort of reasonable to very well priced on 3 different stores for each deluxe, but the dinobots are scalper priced, and I cannot get more than a single figure anywhere anywhere near afordable.
