Converting Japanese MP Starscream to Thundercracker?

With MP Skywarp on the way supposedly next month and the G1 Animated Starscream MP coming to WalMart in November, I was thinking about converting my current SS to Thundercracker. I've put in a request to Reprodecals about this and am studying the differences in paint apps, etc. to make it accurate. Anyone else thinking about this?
PS-Sorry if this is a repost.

I will more than likely wait for the inevitable T.cracker repaint. I believe that there was a rumour he would be released this Xmas.

I would bet that someday they'll release TC as the last repaint of that MP model. If Skywarp sells well I think it could be very likely for next year.

And lo, the anime MP Starscream was unleashed upon the masses and it's ebay price did soar. And on that day the MP03 lost value in the eyes of collectors and prices did fall. And behold waaaaghlord did look upon the MP03, out of favour and unloved and did say unto the sellers "I'll have a dozen mate, looks like a generic seeker if ever I saw one, nice.".

As someone who is getting back into Transformers I would like to have all three seekers that I had as a child. I just got classic Skywarp and Starscream is on his way. So a classic style Thundercracker is a must. I just don't want to pay crazy ebay prices so hopefully Hasbro will eventually come around or ebay prices come down.

According to Hasbro, Classics Thundercracker will never be available to the unwashed masses.
You missread the thread, these guys are talking about Masterpiece Starscream/Skywarp/Thundercracker, not the Classics.
I'm pissed about the lack of a mass market Classics Thundercracker, too. If you want one, have to go Ebay

Ah so true. Thanks for the generix seeker Takara.

I'll take 3 and one extra to repaint as Sunstorm. hell i'll take a dozen cheap ones off ebay as well if it gets tot hem being sub 50 in the future. TYill then, he will be a placeholder for TC till X-Mas.

Same here. I am keeping my MP Starscream the way he is.

That's what I'm afraid of here-it'll be some BotCon exclusive. I'd like to have a complete set. At that point, I may do some sort of repaint/bash of MP03 SS. Or I'll just box him back up since my packaging is still pristine.

Thanks-depending on what happens, this might be my first kitbash attempt...
