She sounded like she was being rude, she might deal with those smelly overweight doorwarmers everyday. You know the hot wheels people that now are all into (scalping) transformers. So just chill and wait till more figures come out. As soon as the movie is dead and long out on DVD everthing will be availble or sooner at MSRP.
I hate those hot wheel losers...

Shes full of ****. I work at Target and we keep getting more in. I doubt Walmart would stop carrying them. Besides, theres still some figures that are coming out and the "power of the allspark" line too.

Ye i called target and they told me that once i just told em no ur wrong and they started an argument so i just told em where to go and hung up. These brain daed peeps in retail rily piss me off

The most when one person tells me they're gettin tfs in the next day and when i call they tell me none came in! Can anybody at target tell me when the toys are stocked and when they come in?

sence the peeps i talk to don't know what there're talkin bout.

lmao, that's hilarious. I'll admit, I used to work in retail and tell half-lies to get psychotic soccer moms off my back, but they were at least plausible and still had the possibility of being true, not ridiculously absurd like "GUH DA MOVIES OVER SO NO TOYS DUHHH".
Through my years I've found the most incompetent retail people to work at Wal-Mart. Seriously, I think they hire anybody. If they could, they'd probably hire animals.

yea, it pisses me off, i realize sometimes customers are rude and i would understand someone workng at these retail stores being rude right back at rude customers, but i asked politely and she gets this attitude.

it's really sad nowadays that customers can't even rely on the stores because of the lazy-ass retarded employees that don't give a crap and lie their asses off. i personally don't trust any of them so i just physically go to each store.

Because we want to have a big empty space where all the Transformers toys go, want to piss off HASBRO because we do not want to sell their hottest selling merchandise, and of course we would not want to take advantage of the movie, or the eventual release of the movie DVD by having a toy line in our store that children want to collect related to it...
Walmarts are all so inconsistant anyway. They are the most unreliable stores for any kind of recent product, exclusives, or information about said items, at least in my experience.

And, most Wal-Mart and Target managers just don't care about the toy department. They honestly think they don't make any money out of there, so they don't care and rarely go back there.
Proof, you ask? What other department in a retail store can sit completely destroyed and allmost empty for WEEKS... sometimes MONTHS? The toy department at my local Wal-Mart and the 5 others I frequent looks like somebody ran through it and knocked everything all over EVERY TIME I GO IN. Shelves stay empty forever, and when you do see somebody bring a pallet out, they pick one box (Usually the smallest) and take three hours putting that stock up, then they go on lunch and then they come back and take that pallet back and get another. Repeat untill time to go home.
And they usually put the "Least productive" employees in toys, because in the eyes of the store managers and department mangers, toys just doesn't matter as much as electronics or automotive. My sister-in-law works at Wal-Mart and says this is exactly what goes on. Whenever somebody new gets hired and they just can't cut it anywhere else, they go to toys right before they're fired.

As much as I would hate to say it, I wouldnt be surprised if this was true. I've been visiting a bunch of Wal-Marts near my house, and they have not been restocking movie toys. And not only that, the places where they previously had movie toys are now being replaced by other toys

I work for Target...
The Toy Mgrs know nothing
They seem to throw people who know nothing about toys into that area
LOL The movies over?
Last I looked it's still in theaters

It's really annoying. 2 weeks ago when I started collecting the movie line ... they were EVERYWHERE! In 2 days I had 75% of the current figures.
Now, ALL of the local wally worlds have empty TF pegs. Also, as many have stated already ... TRU's have disassembled the display in the front of their stores.
There is 1 particular target that is still regularly restocking toys. I can hit that on my lunch break every day.
I hope this reset doesn't turn out to be a myth.
Like that old Queen song goes ... "I want it all, and I want it NOW!"

What did I get myself into ...

I'm with this post. Brings back memories when I was calling the local Eaton's Toy Dept every day asking the clerk if she got G1 Dinobot Snarl yet (hence my sig details and avatar). After about 4-6 months she finally said
"THANKFULLY YES!" Those were the days!

The reset is not a myth. I deliver to two Wal-Marts twice a week. They both have an entire section of the backroom full of pallets of toys. They're shrink-wrapped and have
"New Set 8-4-07" written on the wrap in magic marker. And, there are several cases marked "TF Movie Deluxe Assortment"

It does seem like the stores don't care anymore now that the movie has had its hype... Used to be every time I went the shelves were almost full, now they've taken down the storefront display and the shelves are half empty.

How about adding something to the conversations, instead of posting something that makes no sense without quoted text to refer to, or anything. Please.
Thank you.

about the reset, i called one target and asked the guy in the toy department were they gonna have their reset this weekend, he said yea, this coming monday, but that the only one good answer that gave me hope, the rest of the targets and walmarts i called didnt even know what i was talking about, the representative would ask whats a reset or i dont understand ur question, that kinda brought my hopes back down. for those that live in southern cali, especially L.A, the target i called that said their reset was this monday, the target is in the city of Norwalk, on firestone (forgot if its a BLVD, RD, but that street) so call it up if u live by and get the info, hopefully u we all get some BB quick, also theres another store, not a huge chain of stores like target, walmart,TRU, but i called, this answer really cheered me up, he said he was pretty sure they would get both the '74 camaro and conept camaro form of bumblebee either tomorrow wednesday or Thursday, so i'm gonna call and check, since its not a big chain store i dont wanna post it and then it turns out to have nothing, but for those in southern cali if i'm succesful finding some i'll post it up as soon as i get back from the store.

Target is supposed to reset toys during all of next week
We will be getting in Ultimate Bumblbee and the re appearance of the 6" Titaniums
The movie figures will be out until the animated line hits stores which I heard was next spring

I wasn't acting like a prick, you were simply spamming which is not allowed. If you had quoted a form of someone's text so we understand what your very large excitement of 'Whoo' was about.
The previous posts had nothing to be excited about when they were simply stating things about resets that were actually a bit depresssing. I did not understand where you were coming from since you said nothing but 'Whoooooooooo'. Higly enlightening as that was, it didn't continue my thought process on the topic.
I did say please, and thank you, which is more than you can say when you simply call me a prick, which is also against forum rules.
So stop baiting me to get into a flame war with you and prove you have something to add to the conversation more than 'Whooo'.
Thanks.
About the topic.
I am looking forward to the reset that is supposed to happen next week in which case I might say, 'Woo hoo!' to that information. Thanks!
