Two wal-marts where I live have started the much anticipated, much rumored reset. The Shelbyville and Lewisburge Wal-Marts have started rearranging the toy sections a few days early.

Nothing is on the pegs yet, but the Transformer, G.I. Joe and Star Wars sections have been "tagged". In the toy section were the following newly tagged pegs:

TF Robot Replicas: 4 pegs
TF Movie Deluxe: 8 pegs
TF Fast Action Bat: 6 pegs
TF Real Gear: 4 pegs
TF Robot Heroes: 4 pegs
TF Voyage Asst: 3 tags on shelf
TF Arm blaster: 1 Tag on shelf
TF leader optimus: 1 tag on bottom shelf
TF leader megatron: 1 tag on bottom shelf
TF unleash: 2 tags middle shelf
TF VC Helmet: 1 Tag middle shelf

The pegs and shelves only had the same left overs that have been there, but the whole section is reset and moved to a different aisle. TF's have a six foot section, Star Wars 6, G.I. Joe 4.

Hopefully the new sections will be stocked by sometime this weekend.

When you go to your Wal-Mart, look for chaos and sheets of printer paper stuck on pegs with the new shelf diagram. That's how you know the reset is in progress.

Hopefully it will happen here soon.

Everyone should be psched with this news along with the news that the Target reset is also scheduled for the week of August 5th. But please remember that there is no set street date tied to aisle resets. Just because you go to the sotre on the morning of the reset doesn't mean the pegs will be overflowing with new waves. Truck deliveries are not tied in any way of resets. Although with Target the aisle resets mean that there will be new items on the planogram - in the case of this upcoming reset Ultimate Bumblebee will be part of the planogram. And also I must stress that the Target reset is scheduled for the week of August 5th, not specifically for August 5th. Depending on the store they could be done a couple days before the 5th, exactly on the 5th or sometime later in the week. So be patient out there on the hunt.
