Basicly i think that it would be "lovely" to see what interesting an different or exciting ways people display their toys day to day.

Here are a few of my small shelves with fight scenes, seekers and a flying monkey!

Wicked action shots my friend! I don't know whats going on in most of them, but I love a great action clusterf**k. Post more if you have them.

I would post some myself but alas my camera phone is more phone than camera, so the quality is abismal. If I ever steal my gf's camera again, I'll add something useful into this post.

Until then Grim, post more and everyone else post some action displays too!

Yeah that shelf is kinda a mess-its down near the ground so it aint too important to me.

I know its a bit -blah- to have them all mixed up, but I wouldnt do it unless it was for a diorama, if they are standing in line they would be in order of series.

I actually have a back story to the whole collection, with a small group of preds being chased back to g1 time followed by a large group of maxies-its kinda robot masterish, only no star saber!

although....... :-?

I love that Optimus Minor is going in for the kill with what looks like a flying kick, rather than flinging poop. :P

I had my collection setup in a vs. scenario, but then I started running out of space, and had to go back to a plain old boring standing setup.

I noticed those two, but I was going to comment on Terry Brooks, the Shannara series--all parts of it, are amongst my favorites!

The Art of the lord of the Rings, although to be honest i dont really like tolken anymore-I much prefer Pratchett (thats why i am GrimSqueaker and not Bilbo!)

I do read alot though! One last picture to give u an idea of how much..........

I have a lot more books than that, but i think it illustrates the point-i dig reading. I have read every book there (apart from the new Harry Potter) several times. And its not all fantasy either, i have quite a few on psychology, religion and tonnes on art.

P.s. Terry Pratchett beats Terry Brooks hands down! :P

Well, I have a hard time arguing because I haven't read Pratchett, but Brooks is one of my fav fantasy writers.

Pratchett was knighted! And as far as i am aware he is the best selling living English novelist, i dont know if that means British or in the English launage but either way since he is in the same market as J.K. Rowling its pretty damn good.

Treat yourself, go read him-i recommend any book which feature Death (and of course the GrimSqueaker!) as a good place to start

All the Discworld books feature Death, he's the one universally recurring character that's the gag. I assume that you meant books like Reaper Man that feature him as the protagonist.

Another interesting Pratchett fact, he's the world's most shoplifted author.

now i am pretty jealous of you my friend (in a good way). you have a much more varied selection of books than i have, though i read a lot too, and not only fantasy lit., but also on a wide range of topics. sorry if it got off-topic but i can't resist commenting on fellow book worms. keep it up grim.

Thanks to both of you. I will have to check a book or two of his out.

Style similar to what author? Or I should say, what authors have used him as inspiration/pirated from him?

Have u read the HitcherHikers Guide? Its like that if it made sense was mixed with Tolkien adn took place on a flat planet, carried on the back of 4 giant elephants, carried on the back of a gianter turtle that swims through space!

Oh and if the librarian who gives u the book is an ape!
