Now, at first, I thought this thing was just dumb. But, I went to TWO Targets today, and their shelves were BARE except for the 30,000 Optimash Primes that were stacked up like energon cubes. Nothing else but them, and 1 Booster X10. I figured, what the hell, I don't want to go home empty handed-AGAIN. So, I picked him up.

Now, after opening the package up, and not a single twist tie to irritate me (there was one, but it was easy), I got the little red thing out of its plastic prison. And you know, he ain't half bad! Small MP3 player, but rather nice.

Transformation is so easy, my dog can do it. But it doesn't have to be a hard transformation to be fun. It was simple, yet kind of clever actually. The bird of prey figure looks REALLY good! So good, in fact, I am ditching the crappy "Booster X10" name, and am now calling him "Laserbeak", because that is EXACTLY who he is. A totally revamped Laserbeak. No smiting, please. Very nice fiugre. I recommend him for the sheer fun of him, and he looks good in birdy mode. Not to mention, he is rather unique looking as well, which is nice.

Alt mode: 6/10 (smalish in size)
Robot (bird of prey) mode: 8/10 (head can not move)
Transformation: 7/10 (simple, but fun)

Yeah, the more I hear about this guy, the more I want him. I wasn't originally going to get any Real Gears, but the Laserbeak homage is too cool to pass up.

He's currently sitting on top of my computer next to reissue Laserbeak.

Tomorrow's payday, maybe I can make a quick stop at TRU on the way home.

I've already got a sweet Soundwave/Laserbeak/Rumble display going on, and just got Alt Ravage (haven't worked him in yet)... just waiting on Music Label SW and then I need Booster X10! And Alt Rumble, but I can go without if I must.
