The Music Label Soundwave Help Thread

Okay, so I just got Music Label Soundwave yesterday and I realized that I have a few questions regarding its functionality. I'm really quite ignorant as far as mp3 players go. I figured some other people may have the same or similar concerns so I figured I'd make a topic where evrybody can get their questions answered about this amazing figure. Enough with the rambling, here are my questions...

1) What, exactly, do I need to load music into an SD card?

2) Has anybody found out if anything other than the 1GB Mini SD cards will work?

3) What sort of mp3 player accessories will work with it? By that I refer to speakers, cassette adaptors, etc.

4) Is there a translation of the instructions and/or the text on the box anywhere?

Well, that's all the questions I have for now. If you have the answers or any other questions, please post them. Thanks!

1 - a mini sd card reader that would probably go into your usb port. then you would access it and drag and drop mp3's into folders into the sd card

2 - no, mini sd only

3 - anything that will go into a stereo 1/8" jack, so speakers, cassettee adapters.. etc

4 - no, but check around, there's probably some tutorials in english that will be translated soon

Mini SD with less than 1Gb Storage should work, too. Higher has apparently not been tested yet.

No.
Press Start/Pause for a few seconds to turn him on (his light goes on).
Press Start/Pause for a few seconds to turn him off (turns off when you let the button go)
Press Start/Pause once short to pause a song or start it up again.
Double Left/Right triangle (top row of buttons): left brings you to the start of the song, press twice to go the previous song, right skips to the start of the next song.
Arrow up/down (bottom row) Volume up/down.

That should be all.

I don't know if one can even buy mini SD card readers. I thing the norm is a SD card reader, the mini SD cards usually come with an SD adapter

By "mini" SD, do you mean Micro-SD or is there a middle-of-the-SD-road size that I'm unaware of?

theres: sd, mini sd, and micro sd
i've found sd in alot of cameras and stuff like that, mini sd in mp3 and smaller devices, and micro sd for phones and now some mp3s.
mini and micro both only go to 1 gb, but i think sd can go up to 4 now.

^ Actually, I've got a 2 Gb Mini SD card, but since I haven't received my Soundwave yet, I haven't been able to test it out.

Yeah, I was offered a mini SD with 2GB (and a Micro SD and the adapters), but since I didn't know whether Soundwave would play that, I passed.

Imho, Soundwave has really soft plastic.
