If you have not picked up Music Label White Soundwave yet, you may want to before he sells out or you may miss out. According to XL Toys the second run for Music Label White Soundwave has been cancelled by TakaraTomy. Instead TakaraTomy will release a black version of Music Label Soundwave. There will still be a second run for the blue version. Both the second run of the blue version and the black version should be released in November. Probably canceled the second run on the "Sonic White" version 'cause it isn't selling. I can understand why; that version looks "unfinished," IMHO.

They could call the black version "Soundblaster"

Soundblaster, cool. Kind of makes me wish I had bought the white version instead of the blue one. That way I could order the blue and black ones together.

Black actually sounds much cooler. I'm sure they went with white to make it feel ipod-ish but it does seem unfinished instead.

White Soundwave was a total peg sitter. When I went out toy hunting a few days after it was released, I actually saw one on a store shelf.

I think everyone predicted the black version, I know I did. But I'll probably nab it!

I like Soundblaster, but I LOVE Soundwave. I still have to get the bue version......I guess I'll be waiting til November,......

I dont like the white one. Now i need to decide it i want Soundblaster or Soundwave.

Hot. If I collected Soundblasters, I'd be excited. However, I do not.

Yeah, no kidding. You know, I was thinking about how Hasbro could bring this mold over here and turn a profit. And this was the first thing I thought of; repainting him Soundblaster black in addition to the iPod white and classic blue. Then there's remolding/repainting him into Blaster and possibly Twincast. After that, you can't do much with the mold.

But this is a whole line not just 1 figure. They already did Rumble and Frenzy as earphones. They can remold/repaint them into Rewind and Eject. And how about making Laserbeak/Buzzsaw an MP3 player too? Make them the exact same size and shape of a real cassette, but it ofcourse transform into their bird forms and plays MP3s. You can show it to your friends and they'll be like, "Get lost! You still use tapes?!" Then you transform it and plug in some earphones and go.

...I'm kidding! But you know, kids these days probably have no idea, they were brought up with CDs. They probably look at G1 Soundwave and go "What the hell is that?"...but to us he's the coolest thing... hah, anyway.

Cool idea for Laserbeak, I would totally buy it. But it doesn't really seem like it would go with the rest of the Music Label line, no interaction.

This comes as no surprise, however, I also wouldn't put it past them to release a red, yellow and silver version with a retooled head [if we're that lucky].

I wish the headphones were black, it would work better with the Rumble/Frenzy colour scheme.
Hey, they could do a re-tool and make this Blaster, but I don't know how well it would sell....

I wonder if they will make any improvements to the electronics like accepting a higher capacity SD mini card.

If I hadn't already bought the blue version, I'd consider picking up the black version. Soundwave/blaster is cool, but I don't know if I like this particular mold enough to buy it twice.

good to see more of this produced will keep the price down I hope to get one in October when I have some funds available.

I take back what I said earlier.. I just received mine in today... I like this enough to buy the black version... very well done...

I think I'm going to grab the second run of the blue version, but the black version sounds hella sweet. If a full color line is announced, I'll grab another color instead of blue.

I'm glad stuff like this sells well. It paves the way for even cooler TF molds down the road.

only question left to be answered is will it resemble soundblaster or will it resemble the black ipods.

Smart move. Black would sell better as Soundblaster. White was pointless.
