Let me just start out by saying that I sadly have neither figure. I do however have a good eye for detail, and examined their packagings closely at the store. What I noticed on Scorponok's body were a lot of markings like 'keep back' and 'warning' and another marking regarding fuel and the word explosive. So my question is what part of Blackout did Scorponok come from? I know he ejected out of his back near the rotor, but what was Scorponok hiding or transformed as while merged with Blackout? It almost looks like he should transform into some kind of military vehicle himself with those markings but we all know that's not the case. So does Scorponok form parts of the interior of the chopper near fuel storage or some other vital area? What do you guys and gals think?

I know what you mean, I think the toys robot mode was an after thought, it's more likely that (Like you say) the scorpion IS the robot and he's part of Blackout! Funny cos I think Blackout was originally supossed to be Soundwave! It's a take on the Cassette player/cassette thing!

True.. In the film but in pre-production Soundwave was designed as a helicopter! But there was too much uproar so they changed his name!
