He's probably curls up. I don't think he's actually in blackout, just on him

you mean the mini scorpinok? you need to puysh the smaller of the two black pegs at the back of the copter, put scorpinok upside down on the newly accessable flat panel and fold the cage back up again

Yeah, deluxe Skorponok only attatches to the bottom of Blackout by 3 pegs.

Actually, in the film, he opens a compartment in his back and Scorponok jumps out. (This is the scene during the base destruction where you see Blackout open up his rotor blades for a moment and Scorponok drills into the ground.)

I think it was once said he served as Blackout's engine? Or copied it's look? One of the two...it has something to do with all the warning labels and marks on his body.

Ah that explains why they have all those English lettering on it! I was wondering what on earth did the Scorponok alt mode transform into that necessitated those decals. Now I know!

Yeah. If you pay really close attention to the scene (I.E. see it more than once..lol) you'll see he pops right out near the main rotor assembly, where the engine would be.

It took me all three times in the drive-in to catch all the details, and I'm sure I've missed even more.

Hell, someone claims they heard Megatron say "I still function" when Captain Witwicky first discovers him. I don't know if this is true or not, but captioning devices and subtitles will help us fill in the blanks.

Oh and apparently Bonecrusher screams "I hate you!" as he's falling from the overpass with Prime.
