Is Leader Prime 2007 that big?

I admit, he is the biggest Autobot that I have ever bought. And I do know that he is bulky, almost like he's got 2x the armour of the movie Prime. But how big is he compared to past Primes? And can he compare to the epicness of guys like Energon/Cybertron Prime?

I personally like how he doesn't 'combine' with other figures. I know, Energon and Cybertron Prime might have waaay more play value than the movie Prime, but I dunno... I just like to have a solid Prime who relies on himself alone.

BTW, does anyone think that his robot mode has got a backpack/jetpack? :P

he's in there neer the back. As you can see he's relatively massive in comparison to the other primes. :)

And the way the tank fold back looks a LOT like a jetpack. But I doubt he would more then hover :P

Yeah, he's a big guy. Very well engineered though, I think he has one of my all-time favourite transformation designs.

He's one of only a handful of TFs that are actually genuinely FUN to transform!

Best TF ever made in my opinion. Puts everything else practically to shame. One must have the MP-01 version though.

Wow, that good? How do you protect such figures from wear and tear? (I'm a collector too, so the only time I touch Prime is to pose him)

Also annoys me even more that the Leader Megatron, by contrast, is so terrible.

Most Primes lately, besides MP Prime, are usually small "Voyager" class figures who need 'Super Modes' to actually become Leader class. That's what's so good about this Prime. He doesn't need extra crap loaded on.

Yer the Leaders seem to be the biggest...

Nope Supreme are the biggest. Usually a good 3-4 inches taller than the leaders. But they are more expensive and they make fewwer of them.

I would say Cybertron Prime is closer to an ultra without his super mode than a Voyager. But his super mode doesn't add nearly as much as some of the others. Though to be honest I prefer the smaller primes in most lines. Like Classics, if in Classics 2.0 they plan to introduce some Ultras or leaders maybe even a supreme I don't want Prime to be really out of scale. That is one of the things I like About both the movie line and Classics is the characters are pretty close to scale. Not perfect but pretty close.

which is the biggest prime on the market beside the one in masterpiece line?

By himself or with supermode? Movie Prime is the biggest standalone other than MP. RiD Prime and Armada Prime can get quite huge with their various supermodes.

Oh and Optimal Optimus is quite large too. If you count beast primes.

Most likely Star Convoy. Very tall, I think as tall as MP Prime.
