I wrote Reprolabels asking if they were going to make a Upgrade set for MP3wave and this was the response:

Sounds like good news but people that are actually using their Soundwave as an MP3 player should probably think twice. Stickers are liable to get tatty on a toy that's being carried around and thrust in and out of pockets a lot.

I presume that it will be largely based of the G1 sticker designs. Might not be a bad thing in and of itself but I'd have to see how it looked before it got a thumbs up or down.

Yeah, I do plan to use him as an MP3 player but its not going to be for everyday use. 1GB really doesn't lend itself to constant play anyway.

That's good news!
Now we just need a cheaper version without the mp3 capabilities and he can be Classics Soundwave.
