I only want to get one of them, out of the three I am leaning towards one of them, but I will not reveal who it is

What's your opinion, take, personal preference on this?

Best Regards,
Ed

well if you are a scale purist ill go with leader prime but if you want a good paint application and good acceptable and money wise priem i'll go with the robovision... you can pass on the voyager he looked burned too dark...

Let's see.. my decisions for getting leader prime over voyager prime were.. leader prime is bigger. That was pretty much it. lol.. same goes for MEgatron!

Some like voyager prime I've read because he might be a bit more movie accurate, and/or he is more streamlined then leader prime. Leader prime has some crap going on behind his legs.. wheels just sorta hang there when posted a certain way.

But voyager prime has the backpack thing going on, which is sort of ugly.

I dont mind that backpack thing nearly as much as the blocky upper body of prime due to the electronics. I like robovision because he seems to have the most movie accurate paint and body shape in my opinion.

Leader Prime hands down. Voyager prime had a fake torso.

that's right you nailed it! the leader is admittedly scale wise but i cant dig the wheels on his hamstrings.. too huge and cant hide em...

I got the movie preview prime and I really like him in robot mode. Great paint job, very pose able.. not really to scale, but its optimus prime and its only 10 dollars. Not a bad little action figure either!

As much as I love my LC Prime with his large size, good posability, articulation (even the fingers!). etc. I still have to go with the Voyager Robovision Prime. I know, fake chest, and he has that backpack thing going, but those are trivial compared to what this figure has to offer. He's still a great looking figure and Alt mode is sweet. It's not that far off to scale really. He still blends pretty well with the rest, which is how I have him. His legs transform better than his Leader version (less bulk), and he is even more posable, and looks better in extreme poses than LC Prime. It's kind of like this; Both the Kingpin and Spider-man can stand on one leg, but only one of them will look better doing it. ;)

I haven't seen the normal Voyager Prime. I didn't think his blue would be so much darker that it would look "burned". That's disappointing. Robovision Prime has more flames. Me like.

I currently own the leader class. He's really has some great attributes, and then there are also some flaws that cause him to fail at being an amazing figure. Looking at the Robovision prime, he seems to have about the same balance of positive and negative issues. If I can ever find a robovision prime I'll definitely pick it up, because personally I can see it being cool to own both versions.

first off why don't you just get both?? and.. if you're too cheap to do that then clearly go with the leader class one. it is by far the most movie accurate version, and in my opinion the best prime of all time other than mp 04. robovision is cool, just due to the silver plastic instead of the grey, but leader prime is without a date the best choice. the only problems i could find with it.. and i tried real hard to find problems. one his head can only spin, i wish the grey plastic was silver, and i wish his eyes were blue light piping instead of lighting up yellow. but those are incredibly small problems. robo vision is less color accurate, has a huge back pack, after a while in alt mode the smoke stacks start falling cause they don't snap into place. the blue on it is too light, the chest is just weird and looks about as detailed as the op movie keychain. the weapons on robo prime are clearly inaccurate. and there is far less posability then leader prime, and leader primes articulation and balance is way better.

Here's how I solved this same problem:
1. bought 2 protoform OP (1 for 'bot, 1 for entry mode)
2. bought test shot voyager
3. bought Leader

Any questions?

Um... money?

In all seriousness, I would recommend Leader. Robovision sounds good if you want a more movie-accurate Prime, but if you want possibly the most epic figure in this movie line, get Leader Prime. If you want the most creative OP figure, get the Protoform.

touche. LC class offers more bang for the buck in the long run, if you're unwilling to get 2 classes of primes. LC class, despite it's flaws, will have more value in the secondary markets for TFs in the future, IMHO. cheerio. 8)

I have the Leaders and Voyagers of OP and Megs. I'd have to say the Voyagers are a little more accurate to the movie in overall appearance. The Leaders are larger and more detailed and have cool electronic stuff. I say they're both worth getting.

Is there a size chart or something with the movie characters to see the correct scale? They were moving so fast in the movie I couldn't tell if Megatron was bigger than Prime or not.

kingplay my friend i simply understand your confusion and just ask what would jesus do? lol! seriously do you think size and lights and sounds matters to you? or accuracy and paint matters to you most? because these factors are evident on this two great figures. i personally imo is saving money to get me a robo-vision prime simply because i like accurate painted figures.. but ofcourse gimmicks also will affect your desire to ger the leader class prime again we are just here to give you advices to help you...
