well with all these rumors of the reset this weekend i just wanted to visit the local target today for just a quick visit to see if i got lucky before the reset, and the transformer aisle was chaos. At the top of the aisle like in most toy sections there was a big sign of optimus marking where the transformer toys are supposed to be, but on the actual shelfs and pegs there where Bratz toys,Pirates of the Carribean, and kids clothes in a pile, not even organized, thats how the transformer section looked and i started thinking since maybe the reset is this weekend the employees arent taking care of the section cause they know they're gonna restock this weekend, at least thats what i think, anyone think thats the case?? the only upside to my visit at target was that i got the last two Target Exclusive figures they had, Clocker and Skyblast, which are scout class and the closest thing i've gotten to movie toyline figures in weeks

the reset should take place either this weekend or august 5th. i went today all around and there was nothing new

I went to my target today and the only change was One, Just one Leader Megatron, And I dont want megatron, but I was tempted cause he's so damn rare were I live...

This is slightly off topic but the guys at TRU said to "check back this weekend" for TF restock. I'm gonna try them on Sunday and see what happens.

Is anyone located here in Chicago, it's like a barren desert...I might try toys r us , but calling ahead is good, if they're not lying....

Pegs are filled with the new Scout class figures at my local Targets. No sign of Deluxes, Voyagers or Leaders.

BUt for anyone that reads this, how are u guys gonna handle this "reset" weekend?? are u guys gonna go everyday to check the stores AND if anyone already did and had success please post what u got this weekend, thanks in advance to anyone that replies

the best thing ive seen in these last few weeks was realgear high score, meantime, and unleashed optimus. i hope they get in the latest guys.

what are you guys going to do in 6 months when the tf blockbuster hype settles, and toy waves don't come out for month on end?

I will be quite busy, actually. I plan to get:

Concept BB (2008 Camaro)
Thundercracker
G1 Colors Jazz
G1 Colors Starscream
G1 Colors Rescue Ratchet (maybe)
Cliffjumper
Dropkick

and a few others maybe. After that, I plan to move about 500 miles to a whole new place I will call home. After getting settled, I am sure there will be some new goodies on the way, or already out for me to get. By then, I will have more NEW TF's than I have of my original G1 collection.

nothing, thats pretty much how it is right now, so it won't be that big of a difference

So when i go to the stores on monday i should be able to find voyager megatron then? Im looking foward to the movie hype cool down. Ill be able to find things again. But then i cant fight little kids and old people in the aisles to get the TFs i want. But still ill be able to find TFs again. None of this going to riverhead every friday bullshit and getting shafted at the retard stores.

Um...it was stated that the movie line will carry on until the middle of Summer 2008. Animated will run along with it at the beginning of the year, and then after the movie line's done...Classics/Universe 2.0 will pick up the slack.

I'm sure there will be lulls along the way, but I doubt we'll go months and months.

I have to say though...I think this is the biggest lull I've ever seen. I thought the Omega Supreme, Optimus/Megatron role play wave for Energon was bad (those were the only toys released that wave, and it lasted about a month or so, at least in my area.) but this...especially with all the people clamoring for these figures...yikes.

i got some good stuff earlier today at fallbrook target here in cali.... g-1 titanium starscream, optimus, and rodimus and 2 BB robo replicas. so far ive been to 4 targets that have been done reseting their toy aisle before the 5th.
