Hobby Link Japan just got some more Japanese Bumble figures in stock (the one with the clear windows)> I want to get it but the price is steep, double what the US version would cost, and that's not including shipping. Do you guys think its worth it?

Which one, the 74 Camaro version or the 2008 Camaro version.

Well, it's just clear windows. If you can stomach seeing your '76 Bumblebee with solid windows, then it's pointless getting the Japanese one. Up to you really.

I believe the '08 Bumblebee already has clear windows in North America

Honestly man. I have no idea why Hasbro's version doesn't have clear windows. Like I know

Strangely enough, the Japanese version is manufactured under Hasbro!
The Japanese release is superior. The trans-blue windows make it look like a 'figure' rather than a toy.

I have the Japanese version and it looks only good in car mode. Robot mode is TERRIBLE. The blue of the missiles is not even close of matching the blue of the windows and the legs are awful with all the clear blue plastic showing.

go for it from a collector standpoint. if you're a completist then of course its something youd need for you collection. personally, i think its pretty cool to have different versions of BB on display. however, if you're just buying it to play with it and transform it and it ont even be displayed as a collector piece, then i think its pointless.

No, rubbish is Armada Hot Shot, Energon Hot Shot and Cybertron Hot Shot. '77 BB is an excellent mold.

UPDATE: After two weeks of waiting my Jap. BB finally came, and all I goot say is WOW! I really had no idea how something as seemingly trival as clear windows and a slightly darker yellow paint sceme can turn a mediocre figure into a good, hell a great figure! I strongly recommend the Jap. BB over the US one. Now if only I could find the damn '08 BB, ARRRRRGGGGGGGGGGGGG! **** Scalpers!
