well there is a simple answer for that the paint is more realistic and brighter...

I was pissed I payed E40(well my mum did when she was over in Dublin, that's in Ireland if you don't know) for the Robovision when they released the Voyager Prime/'08 Bee 2 pack over here in the UK and I originally wanted the Voyager. Thanks for posting these.

Btw he's much nicer if you repaint the "side windows" and lower torso silver as I did with mine.

voyager is so much better than robovision. he is more movie accurate than the bright blue and reds of robovision. robovision looks like spiderman

Well, Robo-Vison prime was $25 and Voyagers are normally only $20. So, in a nutshell, the extra paint costs extra money.

They are more expensive too.

well i still like the mettalic paint on robo-vision than plain gray on the voyager...

Robo Vision does look good...just be careful handling it. The flames are too easily scratched off!

i want to get a robo vision im cool with the silver things compared to the darker type of the voyager one.im just hoping i can still find one in september

I bought the robo-vision version and the voyager version. I have to say that each has its good points and bad points. What I did was combine the two to get the best of both. I took the biceps from robo vision and his legs and put them on voyager prime. Robo has better detailing on the lower leg haveing the knee joint painted gold where voyager doesn't. But Voyager has the blue hips and Robo does not. I took the feet off of my voyager and put them on the robo legs since they were tighter. Voyager prime has much better paint detailing on his chest and shoulder area. I took the Voyager leg panels and put them on the Robo's lower shin area. I think he looks good this way. Here is pic of him and leader brawl.

Yer Robo-Vision is like a Leader Class Prime except in a Voyager size. Where else the Voyager Prime is like a Voyager version so it isn't precisely accurate.

Im glad I got Robovision Prime, but the Voyager is far from a bad figure, it just suffers (as the whole movie line does) from Hasbro's paint applications.

The only thing that the Voyager version has that I wish the robovision version had is the lack of flames on the roof/shins.
The less flames a Prime figure has, the better.

Or, instead, you could opt to buy the G1 inspired Voyager Prime that has no flames whatsoever on it....
