I just noticed that on Arcees arms there is a spot for the wheels to rest so they dont move while the wheels are folded down. If you set the edge of the wheel on it it wont move as freely. Ive marked the spot on the pic. If you do it this way you can also put the gun on the round peg like Megatrons arm cannon and the wheel wont be in the way.

very cool, I just tried it. I didn't even realize her wheels folded down like that.

I've purchased so freaking many recently I haven't had time to fully experiment. Good find!

Just mess around with them for a while. You'll figure out why it doesn't transform or look right. This has happened to me with most of the movie toys and some of the classics. For some reason theres alot of things not in the instructions or shown on the box. And some times you just over look the step in the instructions.

EDIT: Also i forgot to mention you can put the missile on her right arm wheel section when its folded down. So if you put the missile there and the gun on the round peg on her left arm both the missile and gun can be "stored" on her while in robot mode. Now she has weapon storage and you dont have to worry about losing anything because there just sitting some were.

Has any one found out why there are these slits on her back wheel aka shoulder wheel?

Hmmm... after some experimenting I figured it out. Your question got me wondering so I tried some things and found that on the axel that both tires pivot on have a *small* matching catch (too small to be considered pegs) but they line up perfectly with those two slits. When you fold the two tires inwards, the catch/pegs will go into those slits and keep the tires from spinning.

What you end up is Arcee with her tires in this formation:

(( )) (both halves' broken sections facing each other rather than facing upwards)

If you need more clarification, I'll try to take pics and post them later. But you should see it --just look on the axel that each tire half pivots on (not the main axel that the tire spins on but the pivot axel that allows you to pivot the tire inwards or outwards like wings) and you'll see what I mean.

Good call about asking about them or I would never have bothered looking.

I have to say, I'm really impressed with this figure, I'm not crazy about the head sculpt but the body and weapon is very well done. It's a shame they couldn't have had her in the movie. (*and* kept Ironhide, they definitely needed the firepower)
