Big Lots is a great place for KO's, especially G1 combiners.

It appears that another kind of KO can be added to the list.

Large size Knock Off versions of World's Smallest Transformers Prowl, and World's Smallest Transformers Sideswipe have been found at Big Lots.

Read the full siting here along with pictures of these interesting KOs.

As always keep an I peeled towards the Seibertron.com Toy News Section for more information on vintage, Knock Off, and New Transformers' Toys news.

The others in the set are the Armada Street Speed team and Sparkplug. We've been listing all the Agglo company knockoffs in the knockoffs thread in the toys forum the last few days.

http://www.seibertron.com/forums/viewto ... t=420&sid=

They have a "Military Fighter" set which is double sized minicon jets and tanks, and a "Construction-Bots" which are 16 variants of small bendy Armada Prime as construction vehicles. (Optimus Prime as a Crane, Optimus Prime as a tow truck, Optimus Prime as a garbage truck, etc. Seriously, they made 16 variants of Armada Deluxe Prime!)

All these toys are about scout size (whether they were minicons, WST or Deluxes before) and sell for $2.50.

Here are pictures of three of the giant Mini-Cons from the Military Fighters set from the same company, also showing up at Big Lots. - and also one of the shrunken Armada Prime knockoffs they sell.

I thought those were Prowl and Sideswipe. Took a second look, though, and yeah, that could be a Red Alert. Or maybe an Inferno? Only crosses my mind because the deluxe Inferno from the old Universe line was a repaint of RID Prowl. Might wanna try to poke my head into big lots soon, though. Wouldn't mind having a Prowl, even if it is a KO.

It's definitely WST Red Alert, not RID Prowl... just look at the transformation on the card.

Thanks for the extra info Scaleface.

Even if they aren't quite right or whatnot, afordable knockoffs, especialy for G1 figures are great to send to the front, kitbash, or use as casualties, while keeping your actual collectable figure safe.

Go to the right flee market, general, or closeout store and you can find plenty fo guys who sadly just won't make it through the night.

Collecting is something I enjoy and I care for my bots. Still smashing, inpailing, and burning, are things I enjoy as well!

I may pick up some of these to practice painting on, before I attempt to repaint Classics Skywarp and Ramjet into Thundercracker and Thrust.

I'm sorry, I could have been clearer. I only meant it reminds me of RID Prowl because the colors of the KO remind me a bit of those early Universe repaints. Definitely not the same mold though.

I stopped by today. They had knock offs of tons of TF! All the protectobots, all insecticons, all constructicons, beast wars optimal optimus and transmetal 2 megatron, and RID megatron and galvatron. plus some scaled down versions of superion(still transformed and connected together!) IT was great. All of them for under 50 bucks!

I don't think any of those "Insecticons" were actual TF knockoffs. They were just generic bugbots.

I made another post about this in the toy forum, but it was at like 3am and it got swept aside.

Still for those intrested in bots worth trashing, take a peak...
