misb issue

honestly this issue is somehow getting ridiculous to the fact that it's a flame starter for some of the board members and i dont dig the issue that one fellow seibertronian shows his collection on misb and then some issue about opening them came, i myself replied that i hope he'll open one of those toys someday then others suggested it but suddenly the thread just went crazy for some reason... i dont like that kind of stuff we are all having rights to give our opinions but let's not start an argument over something that we all share in common... collecting imo i open my toys just for a simple reason i like the feeling of toying them but for those who dont want to open their collection it's still fine because they say it's nice to keep them brand new and hell if i even have enough money i'll buy duplicates too just to keep them misb but unfortunately not... but let's just dont forget that tf toys is the reason why we are here not to argue with someone like their saying it's not a way of colecting or other stuff... again respect is the keyword here...
for those who open their toys that's cool and for those who doesn't still same reaction and to make the story short, imo im happy for those who share their collections opened or misb and happy to meet people like you guys...
p.s. too bad i cant see blkbitcloud's collection due to firewall issues but im happy for you dude!! more power!

....sorry bro but i feel you on this one. arguing over stuff like this is stupid. but people are ignorant and feel the need to disrespect someone elses opinion. especaially when 95% of the people on here will never see each other, they can talk talk talk all they want despite how rude and wrong they are. but honestly when people see others opinions, all they see is "blah blah blah...." and feel that it is unimportant and that theirs is superior. human nature is all. but i see it as ignorance.

I cant say i agree with you on these points. There are many board members that are perfectly capable of looking at another's opinion and based on facts decide if it is a valid arguement or not. In fact, it has been my experience that the person that originally posts an opinion is the one unable to see past there own ignorance when presented with facts to the contrary.

true and true. i was exaggerating when i said 95%. but truly there are many who dont care about what other people say. moreover, there are many who feel the need to insult to get their own point across. true, sometimes it is the person who posted their opinion first who are being the ignorant one. but in other cases, it when a person posted their legit and thoughtful opinion, only to be bashed by someone else.... and ive witnessed many of these than that of the former.

Some people, and I am sure I fall into this too from time to time, just fail to understand that it is perfectly fine to agree to disagree.
I have seen it before where I have been asked to back up why I agree or disagree with something. I have also felt that people have attempted to "convert" me to their views, because I am obviously wrong and must be shown the light.
I have been called a hater and I should not spread my hate because I happend to express an opinion of dislike. I found that offensive.
I have seen it many a time that someone has been put down for their opinions, one way or another and it is not just transfans, it's everywhere.

Well I am one of those that keeps their collection MISB. I buy doubles of the ones that I want to open. This makes it easier for me to display everything at once. Once a line ends I take pics, box it up and store it to make room for new TF lines. That is the just the way that I collect as I regard it as an investment and a collection. It works for me and that's all that matters in the end. If someone else does it different all power to them. If it works for them then so be it. Opinions regarding how I do it will not change my collecting/display habits.
