OK, just to keep this entertaining, since someone out there will more than likely post a whole list, let's try to keep it at a 3 name per post maximum
. But seriously, which toys have never seen a name reuse due to copyright issues, or Hasbro just not reusing the names? There's
Powerglide
Warpath
Cosmos.
(I know there was a Powerglide homage in LOC Fireflight, and I know about Classics Cosmos. Just so people don't respond about 80 times telling me something I already know
)

Heave and Erector, thankfully. Those are HORRIBLE names.
Also, Quickswitch, which WOULD be a good name for a transformer with a lot of Automorph-style gimmicks.

My excuse is I got back into tfs at the arse end of energon, and we never got a lot of the repaints in this country. (And what is the crack giving a tf that barly has 2 modes the name Sixshot?!?)

Astrotrain got used as a club exclusive and as a Classic, so he got used after G1. On God Ginrai, I don't think this thread was about Takara names, just Hasbro ones.

People can up with a bunch of "fan" modes for Shockblast, so I guess Hasbro desides to name the repaint Sixshot. Though they never included the addtional modes in the instructions to the best of my knowledge. Still not a fitting use of the name to me.

Menasor, Huffer and Springer were reused in Classics. Hooligan wasn't in G1. There was an unreleased design for a Beast Mchines Quake (redeco of Ultra Tankor). Slag was reused in G2. Sludge was reused in the "Dinobots" line in 2003 as a redeco of Beast Wars Neo Sling.
