This post has been editted, and to fit that title we are focusing on the following question:
If you could only pick 10 transformers (excluding Masterpieces, Binaltechs, Alternators, Movie-line, Vintage G1) to display in your case. Which 10 would you pick?

Hi guys, try to recommend me some figures that you think might fit my taste please :grin:

I know everyone's taste is different but for me personally I love the high-quality intricate type that is great for displaying purposes.

To simply put...the ones just look DAMN GOOD!

Also the toy must transform, I think it defeats the purpose to own a "transformer" if it doesn't transform.

Not sure if I am missing any "must haves", if I am please alert me

I got all the masterpieces....
All the binaltech/alternators that I want...
All the transformer revoltechs...
All the versions of movie bumblebee...
All the G1 Die-Cast Titaniums...
RID Omega Prime, vintage Dinobots, vintage Jetfire...
Reissue of Optimus Prime and Megatron...

So please, feel free to suggest some figures for me to look at, I would appreciate it very much!

What? No Classics!? Shame on you! Anyway, virtually all the Classics toys are recommended by me...

Check out Galaxy Force Vector Prime. JPY one, not the US.

Brave Maximus is another must have in my book.

Raiden, Predaking and their predecessor, Devastator are also must haves.

Checked out galaxy vector prime, definately looks good, but too Star-warish for my taste :lol:

I agree with devastator that is definately a nice one.

thats easy Optimus Prime, Megatron, Rodimus, and Grimlock

This isnt to say the rest are bad however, they are all great IMO

Can't go wrong with movie Wreckage. Transparent red blades and a bucket head that is almost (key word being almost) Megatron-like. It's rare to find a TF that has 2 flip-out arm mounted blades. Plus he's only 10 bucks.

Movie Prime is a nice display piece too, and very playable. He is very poseable (even each finger can move) so you could display him in a cool way.

Classics Prime is good too. Solid joints and it's not haltered by gimmicks.

My RID Scourge is a good display piece too. Gotta love that chrome trailor...

Movie Brawl (either size): Decked out with weapons--a badass displayer.

Cybertron/GF Prime: Another TF decked out with weapons. I just love his underarm cannons.

BW Rampage: I repainted mine to look more show-esque and he's certainly a menacing display piece.

BW Neo Big Convoy: BFG! Though it may halt some poses this TF still looks badass.

BW Transmetals II Tarantulas: He was one of my fav characters out of the era. It helps a lot that his toy is very nice looking. The spider legs pointing up in the back just add something nice to the design that I can't explain.

RID Megatron/Galvatron: Character was a 'tard but he had a nice toy. I especially like displaying him in his twin headed dragon mode.

BW Transmetals II Dinobot: Menacing. All I have to say.

RID Prowl: Good colors, good poseability, cool car mode. If you don't like the white you can go for the "super mode" one. Lotta dark blue instead of white.

This one's my own personal taste, not sure if it'll suit you: Movie Bonecrusher. Menacing look and pretty good poseability. I painted his head to look more accurate and I currently have him in a kneeling pose extending his vice grip.

Actually, I would say all the seekers. I'd also nab cliffjumper, BB, Huffer as they look great with the BTs.

rid ultra megnus and as far as rid scourge goes get rid black convey and if you can't find either rid scourge or black convey get reissue laser optimus prime because it is same figure but unstead you have another optimus prime.

G1/Reissues: You cannot go past the brothers Sideswipe and Sunstreaker and their buddy Red Alert.
BW: TM2 Megatron, TM Cheetor, TM Tarantulas, Depth Charge
Armada: Megatron, Todal Wave
Energon: Shockblast, Mirage, Starscream
Cybertron: Armourhide, Scattorshot, Red Alert/Cannonball, Jetfire, Optimus Prime
Classics: Mirage, Megatron, Grimlock and Skywarp would be my four.

imo the nike shoeformers are pretty cool and good looking.... especially if they are kept in the box, they make a nice presentation. if you're only into cool TF toys, i think these are cool.

Also MP3 Soundwave is a must.

I've got the headphones, they're ok, but nothing to write home about. I suspect the Convoy iPod dock is a rather expensive lemon if you dont actully own an iPod (something I never intend to do whilst apple place more importance on it being fasionalbe than on it being afordable, practical and on it having a half decent battery life).

ive never seen any of them in person, but they do both seem pretty cool. but i agree with you on the convoy.... 150$ is a bit too expensive for some speakers that i suspect sound bad. then again the 150 is for the convoy and not the speakers

. and how much did you get your headphones?.... these seem the cheapest out of all the music labels, something that i could actually afford.

Well as for me, I'm only doing 10 to 15 Bots from each series like some others here have stated.. so for me the essentials are a definite goal..

I have already aquired some choice figures from Beast Wars.. Namely the whole first released Takara Reissues from one all the way up to eleven..I'll get the rest over time..

I highly recommend getting the Beast Wars 2 Pack with the best redeco and reworked-show accurate Optimus Primal and Megatron ever..

I grabbed a couple of Robot Masters..just Optimus and Lio Convoy.. they fit into my time warp Beast wars display... MUAH HAHAAHHA...

Anyhoo... I am concentrating most of my efforts on obtaining the remainder of Movie Figures which have yet to arrive in my part of VA, and then Armada, Energon, and Galaxy force..

Just 10 to 15 figures from those series..
Space, time, money, and inflation.. all play a part in my choices to get those essentials and let the 2nd tiers fall by the way side..

RID is the only series that I haven't concentrated my efforts on.. but soon enough I will have 10 to 12 essential guys from that line up as well..

If I do it right my collection should be like this:

Generation One:
1. All the Takara G-1 Reissues
2. A couple of US Generation One Toys R Us Reissues

No Love for Generation 2...sorry...

Beast Wars..Okay so beast wars has more then 10 to 12 figures, but hey it deserves that..

3. Optimal Optimus/TM2 Megatron
4. Beast Wars Neo Figures, as many as I can get

Masterpiece:
Everything!!

I'm only missing Ultra Magnus and MP-4....

I think I got em for around £25. In all honesty, they aint brilliant ear phones. And they aint brilliant transformers. And they aint comfey to wear, the tend to flap about as you move. But as I bought Soundwave, I felt they were a must have.

Which series are you asking about?? are we talking about 2 that are not Primes and megatrons? I can list 2 from each series besides Optimus and Megatron which is a given considering.. let me know..
