After looking at pictures, it seems like a good toy. I'm wondering how it is actually playing with it. Is it durable, poseable, etc?

I have him and I love him,
He's a great toy,
Quite posable, cool alt mode and a fairly complex transormation. He also comes with Laserbeak

Have a look through the galleries here and you'll want to go get him straight away.
Gaar,
Doug

Seconded matey.
He be a fine figure, great articulation and laserbeak rocks. Just don't lose the 'cassettes'.
If you can, spring for the Galaxy Force version. Apparently the painted apps are superior.

Yeah he is great, love the fact he has a shoulder cannon, and laserbeak is a nice touch too.

Hmm, I am not a big fan of the Unicron trilogy. However, this figure gets my begrudging stamp of approval.

i have him and i think he is a great homage to the G1 Soundwave in bot mode (not in the show though)

Yargh.
This be true.
And on a (not) entirly diferent subject... Listening to Dare to be Stupid on MP3 Soundwave is funny!

The Galaxy Force has better paint apps (mainly chrome), but some of them suffers from a misaligned pin in the waist area, problem that got corrected on the Hasbro version. Very minor issue though, doesn't really affect the toy.

I think I got lucky, cuase I cant see any obvious issues with mine, other than it took me 2 months to finally get the hang of putting him back into alt mode (my mate was the first to transform him, so I couldnt just work the process in reverse).

Get him, then stand him next to the G1 version, like I did.

He is not a bad figure, certainly not the standout of the Cybertron line.
He has a few minor issues, but they do not make him a bad figure persay, but he is one of those figures that people either seem to love, hate, or dont care much either way.

What's wrong with the figure, in your opinion?
