Soundwave at UK retail, woot! Now the only question is do I grab one of these as he displays the same as a 'true' Soundwave reissue or go for an Encore with the proper chest? I'll probably grab the first one of these I see. Looks like TRU York will be getting a visit this weekend.

So the Encore version just has a bigger chest space? I know one comes with 2 cassettes and 1 just has 1, which has which?

The TRU version is actually a blue Soundblaster (double loading chest) and, off the top of my head, comes with Ravage and Laserbeak. Feel free to correct me on this people. I haven't been paying enough attention to Encore but that one definately has the right chest and I think comes with Laserbeak.

could be wrong but I thought this one (the TRU excl) was the one using the soundblaster chest.and comes with the 2 cassettes. which IMO is much better than a true rerelease of the original g1 figure. ravage and laserbeak plus he can hold them both? i will indeed get this if i see it at my local. thanks for the info

I want money while TRU Nottingham still have them! I've got Soundwave, but I certainly wouldn't object to the Soundblaster mould, I've never had a laserbeak, and my beloved Ravage got nicked when I was a kid. I want bad...

I didn't half get a surprise when I showed up to work in TRU in Glasgow today and found two boxes of these in the action figures aisle! Nice to see them at last.

I saw this in bulk for one weekend in one store here in The States.
I could only afford 1, but I realy wanted 2.
I have a G1 open though, so he's still in the box.
But I wanna ask anyone else who got him, all the ones I saw had him in alt mode, but backwards in the box? Did this happen all over?
I won't break the tape seal on this just incase this was a messed up shipment.

$56 CAD before taxes vs $40 retail at TRU in CANADA. It is a little overpriced but it is the UK after all.

He also comes with two clear plastic cases to store the cassettes in. Good luck to all you on finding one.
