I dont get why people are hating on his transformation and the ice. He hasnt really claimed a 'vehicle' to transform into.. From what Ive gathered, he IS a space 'jet'. So why dont you like his transformation? Why does the ice bother you? You hate how ratchets voyager class is because its not like the movie, but you cant take how Megs looks even though he was stuck in ice for years and years? Please explain.

I don't hate the idea of him not having an Earth mode yet. In the movie, I actully really like his jet mode. It's pretty sleek and well executed. HOWEVER, I do hate the fact that the ice looks so fake, so bad, and isn't removable (Once he's free, the ice doesn't cling to him for the rest of the film). I also really dislike the overall execution of the figure: color, design, etc. It's not Megatron's fault, I blame Hasbro for the half-baked execution.

Well this gets into the ugly, ugly world of gut feelings and irrational responses. If pressed, I would say simply:

"In general, I dislike any Transformer that doesn't transform into a recognizable vehicle, or at the very least something spectacularly cool (G1 Jetfire)."

There are plenty of exceptions, such as Shockwave, Omega Supreme, and barring the spectacularly ugly head, one of the Star Wars Transformers.

The other thing I dislike about Megatron from the movie? Too much of one color. But I'm an amateur artist and I love color.

I told you - irrational responses and gut feelings are ugly.

i personally like the paint of this guy than the leader atleast we get some sort of scenery part of the icy effect...

I have Voyager Megs and I like him a lot, but I don't love him. Let's face it, Megs' jet mode is ugly in every toy incarnation. It's okay on screen, but the toys just haven't been able to capture that movie quality. The best Megs toy IMO is Leader Megs. I love him, but again mainly for his robot mode, which I think is sick beyond words, even if he doesn't look anything like G1 Megs. Back to the Voyager. I would have loved it had the ice been removable. That I think would have been a cool gimmick. But, instead, I just like him a lot.
