I really doubt that has been forty different version of optimus prime. That was according to article not including beast wars prime and the off shoots him. So I was wondering if the boards can name all forty different optimus prime just prove that this article is right or wheather it is wrong. Just thought it would be intersting to see if the facts are correct because according to the article they got this direct from hasbro and remember something along those longs during the whole cyber key thing.

I am willing to bet there are more then 40.

I'd have guessed there being closer to 60 Primes, if you count repaints and whatnot. Even then I'm still off by 17...

Turns out that search also counted Optimus Minor and The Energon Optimus Blaster...
