Just ordered the last Variable Cyberbot from BBTS, and Soundwave to boot...

There's still one used Variable Cyberbot (Skyfire / Jetfire knock-off), but I got the last new one. Man, luck. Assuming the figure is good.

And, of course, I paid $15 too much for Soundwave, Laserbeak & Ravage ($45), but I mean... that was hard to resist.

Because shipping was OUTRAGEOUS ($9.something) just for the Variable Cyberbot, and adding Soundwave & crew to shipping added $1 buck, I figured I had to get another figure, unless I wanted the KO Skyfire / Jetfire to cost $22 alone.

Odd logic, I know; it's not about saving money, it's about realizing it's better to get Soundwave now and not get raped for shipping twice; though BBTS does have that pile of loot feature, that's useful if you're trying to store things up so you can get more so you can order more - and I didn't need layaway.

they were discussing over in the mecha forum that the ko is fairly brittle...but for what they were charging that can only be expected. gratz and hope you enjoy.

Thank you for the warning. It's really my only option as the $125 official VF-1 models, I've heard, aren't made for play either. So if I want a G1 Skyfire / Jetfire mold to play around with, it's better to spend less than more.

Of course, while looking for a link for VF-1 models, I find this page that lists $40 models.

What's the story with that?
