I dunno... I don't want to sound like a heretic, but I've never liked the green/purple colour combo of the Constructicons. Nor was I ever intimidated by Devastator. I think Bonecrusher's duller movie realistic look makes him look even more sinister. Just my opinion though, there might be some guys who like this G1 repaint. My favourite so far has been Jazz, and I'm looking forward to that fig's release.

it has not been confirmed if it is an actual repaint or just a fan kitbash i guess only time will tell bt seeing as target has most of the exclusiives i would say this one will probably be headed off to wal-mart since that is here classics devastator was made availible

meh. I think movie Bonecrusher is a horendous figure and no amount of repaints is going to change that.

he is only so ugly cause they made him so small he should have been a voyager

I don't think it's real. Too bad, I think it would make the figure better, to me at least.

That's horrendous and I hate it.

They could have put all that time and energy with a repaint into making a bigger figure--time, and money NOT well spent...

You're probably right. As it is he looks like this ugly little bridge troll instead of the big bruising robot he's supposed to be.

Front paged and credited!

I hope this isn't official. It looks horrible, continuing the trend of awful, awful, awful repaints in the Movie line.

Why is it that everytime a construction vehicle Transformer comes out, it has to be re-released in neon green? Am I the only one who is sick and tired of this trend...? G1 colours do not belong on the movie designs. Pick a generation and stick with it, these repaints look like bad time-travelling accidents.

Don't really like it but I bet it's real. That's my guess.

That is horrible. There is no point in doing repaints, if the repaint looks worse than the original, unfortunately that is the norm, not the exception in this movie line.

Im not sure if it is meant to be a Devastator Homage, or a Cybertron Dirt Boss Homage...

It would make more sense (to me at least) for Hasbro to make a repaint of Brawl in those colours, seeing as they kept calling him Devastator in the film. He could also be a homage to G2 Megatron as well.

The constructicons were more of a yellow in the show so why are the toys always green? If it is real i may get it just to keep in the box. I like the figure but not the green.

if it's official, then someone at Takara has been hitting the bong pretty hard.

weird...i realize he shares the same name as a constructicon but he isnt supposed to be one of em, i mean he's not even a construction vehicle, he's an army one.

this isnt like the autobots where despite being different vehicles, they ARE supposed to be the G1 character.

oh and regarding their color, they've always been a lime green for me...in both the cartoon, animated movie and all the toys.... to that person who thinks they were yellowish, maybe your tv was just dying? :P

Eh... I can't decide if it's edited from a fan or officially edited to see what he would look like in G1 colors.

Looks like a PS to me too. While I enjoy a well done Homage (cybertron, jazz movie hom) this is bd, Can't realy be useful for stories, and doen't say military to me.

Now, If Hasbro would follow my Devart lead and do Soundwave/Blaster from the FAB Frenzy and Scorponok as Scorpnok to save me time...

Yikes that is horrid and godawful! I love the movie colours, realistic, functional, and just badass. Totally suited to the alt mode vehicle Bonecrusher is.

I've never liked the Constructicon green and purple: just doesn't look intimidating and serious. I like Transformers because they are robots with alt modes that seem real. Green construction vehicles? Just don't work for me.

I don't see why there is a need to repaint in G1 colours. This Bonecrusher is a military Buffalo MCPV, not a bulldozer. Colouring his new mode with his old G1 colours is different from repainting Jazz or Ratchet because both incarnations for these guys are very close.

Let's not forget that the difference between G1 and the movie is the same as the difference between a comic and a movie: the colours that work well in a cartoon or on paper just doesn't serve for real life depiction, and can look downright ridiculous. What will they come up with next: yellow spandex?
