I've liked Scourge/Black Convoy/Nemesis Prime repaints ever since RiD's, and I've recently purchased an Alt Nemesis Prime from Savage_Prime (it's still on its way). I don't have G2 Laser Prime or Alt Prime, but I do collect Primes, so I've decided that I will buy Nemesis versions of OP's I think look better in the black color scheme.

Which brings me to Armada... I don't own a single figure in the line, because I just don't like more kid-oriented style and simple transformations/lack of articulation. One of the few that sort of interested me was the Deluxe Prime. Since I don't own him, I figured the Nemesis version would be pretty darn cool (looks cool in pics), but how rare is he? Do they ever go for decent prices (say, under $40 or $50)? I couldn't find any on eBay. I only want the Japanese version, because the US one has ugly tan-colored parts on it.

Your best bet may be to look on Yahoo! Japan. It will probably be easier to find than using eBay. Also I don't know if you have ever ordered anything on YJ but you need to use a middle man in order to buy anything off of there and it does get pretty pricey with all of their fees and extra shipping.

Hmm, yeah I don't know about those extra fees and things. How limited was the release? Was it fairly widely released like, say, Alt Nemesis Prime, or is it even harder to get? Or is there another US release with a better color scheme?
