If you take a look at the picture, I have identified three areas where I need help to stablize. I spent over a hour on this but I can't figure it out :-?

So please help if you can!

Area #1:
I can't seem to stablize the ladder on top of Omega Prime.

Area #2:
I can't seem to hang the extra arm piece firmly behind the actual arm. Is it suppose to dangle?

Area #3:
Again, can't seem to find a solid way to hook the piece with the autobot symble behind the shoulders area.

Any help will be great!

Thanks in advance,
Ed

Thank you for linkin me to the pictures, but I already got it transformed to that state :)

Thing is I got 5 extra parts and in the picture that I have in my message, it uses all 5 extra parts.

The ladder, extra arms, and shoulder pieces.

I don't know if that person just dangled it on and hoped it didn't fall or if there is a solid way of fixating them~ :???:

Anyone out there know?

The official mode, does not make use of Primes fire truck parts. They combine into a sort of Base/Repair Bay.

You can place them all onto Omega Prime, but its never going to be perfectly solid or stable, since it was not meant to be that way. That is a fan made mode. Which is highly unstable in my experience.

The picture also shows the wrong set of hands/forearms on Omega Prime, he is supposed to use Ultra Magnus's forearms and bigger hands, not Primes armored hands.

I've tried before. The ladder part is out of the question for me.

I've stabilized it enough in my own way, but it's really hard to explain...

First, use Magnus' large hands, not Prime's. Optimus Prime's large hands attatch together with the Autobot symbol part, as if they were in firetruck mode. These then fit to the extra arm pieces (Magnus' forearms, pointing upwards) with a peg, and I position them behind his shoulders to look like another set of wings.

The ladder sits between the top guns, with the red handle-like parts holding it centred between. Then, the part with Prime's super mode head extends behind his back, and hooks underneath a part on the back, preventing it from falling off forwards, as well as providing enough weight to prevent him from toppling backwards. He can stand reasonably well and pose his arms, but it's hard to get him to bend his legs without falling over.

It's a little different from Skywarp-2's (the pic you gave). I wish I could show some pics, but I won't be able to post any today. Hope this helps anyway.

I really don't like the look of it with everything on. I think he looks better without it.

And his waist is already very sesnitive as it is, i would n;t want to subject it to all that added wait. It might just snap in half. *shudders at the thought*

On a side note:
I have to say, I really like your Rodimus/Hot Rod collection. although I would add R.I.D./Car Robots Super Mode Side-Burn to that.

Actually that picture isn't mine, it's a picture form Primesaber's page.. if you really want a step by step way to construct your Omega Prime in that configuration he's the guy to ask..

http://www.primesaber.com/

Also Primesaber I believe is a member of this forum ID#33636, it's probably a good idea to try and contact him through PM to ask him for help..

Here is a large version of that image just to refresh what he's trying to accomplish in case anyone else know how to do it..I have done it, but really have no clue how I got it to stay together since after I mastered Primesaber's configuration, which is down right awesome, I had to place them back into the box..for storage and space reasons..

I found this and thought it really applys to the situation..

Thanks! Yeah, I actually have Side-Burn, but to me he's not quite enough like Hot Rod to fit in wih my collection. The white parts and other things that are very different would throw off the unity. Some people would put in Armada Hot Shot as well, but same thing for me, he's just not Hot Rod/Rodimus. I suppose the only one I'm missing is Micromaster Hot Rod, since I won't be collecting variations of the same mold (KP Rodimus, DVD Exclusive Excellion, etc).
