She's actually one of my favorite movie toys, right behind Bumblebee. She's much better than most of what's out there for the movie line...

Scale issues have thus far prevented me picking her up.

I have her right in front of me with 08 BB, both in alt mode. She should be at least half the size. But transformed to bot mode they look good just standing there.
I feel that Arcee's one of the nicer TFs in the movie line. Didn't think I'd like the colour but in person it looks good. The transformation process is interesting, and she's not fragile like some of the other ones where you have to be oh-so-careful with a very soft touch when transforming and posing.
Think it really shouldn't matter unless you display in alt modes.

It's not a matter of being in the movie. It's a matter of a motorcycle being taller than a car. It's silly.

Who knows, maybe Hasbro will grant our wishes and make a somewhat G1 accurate Arcee with next years Classics re-release..
For right now, she will do nicely.

I'm glad you think your brief thoughts are so important they deserve their own thread.
That said, I like Arcee, but I don't like how her wheels are supposed to go over her shoulders. Completely limits movement.

Some bike sit higher than some cars mind you. But yes
she is about twice as big as she should be in Alt-Mode.

So you hate Arcee because she is off-scale slightly? You should hate Cybertron Primus too, then, because he is waaay to small. He should be the size of a building so your figures can live on him.
You could always use the Scout Arcee exclusive as a replacement. But mind you deluxe arcee looks much better when posed alongside movie Voyager Ironhide + Ratchet, deluxe Bumbles and Jazz, and Leader Prime. And I for one happen to really like her figure as a toy and as a display piece, especially in robot mode with her weapon. Easily one of the best deluxes.
I'm glad I'm an Autobot fan, because this line had so many great Autobots

I'd be heartbroken if I was more of a decepticon fan - they stuffed up every Decepticon figure except Wreckage and bonecrusher if you ask me, and even then people probably will dispute me w/ Bonecrusher.

if you dont like the size of the deluxe arcee, the target scout is smaller. personally, i think she is a great figure as she is

I gotta ask. Why's her head look like it does? Is it supposed to be some kind of styled "hair cut"? Why does my robot have bangs??? I mean she's sleek and narrow to begin with, and has what looks like hooker boots for lower legs, and she's purple. Did they really have to make the face so absolutely feminine just to remind us it's a she-bot?

Scale issues? You're kidding? Thats a bit anal, no? I mean, she'd have to be a minicon to be acurate. She would just barely be taller than a tall human. Its an awesome toy and your really missing out. But hey, thats more arcee for the rest of us!

Silly? Your one of those people who won't buy a MP megatron because his Alt mode is as big as MP prime arent you? You know.......G1 megatron doesnt fit into g1 starscreams hand either.....

Actually... now that you mention it, she'd look bitchin' as a Softail Rocker or a Night Rod Special with purple pinstriping.
Seriously though, if she had hair on that weird shapen head, you just know it'd be blonde.

I don't think it's that bad. Granted, it's meant to give the impression that if she did have hair, that would be her hairstyle. But I'm happy Hasbro put ANY effort into Arcee at all - and apart from Ratchet and 74 Bumbles, imo all the Autobots have been done very well and Arcee is a very welcome addition to the team. I can understand people's gripes with her face because it -is- new, and most of us are not used to the movie aesthetics. I for one am not. But certainly it's a welcome departure from the blatant anthropomorphism in previous lines (this is just my opinion). Giving Arcee a 'hairstyle' is in a way, a possible tribute to toylines past.
