Cybertron Skywarp, will I regret not getting him?

Saw him at Walmart today and had him in my hands along with Ramjet but decided to get Cliffjumper instead. The super long missle launcher hand turned me off. Should I have not judged this book by its cover?

ohh no, you should judge him by his rocket launcher arm. The rocket launcher hand totally messes an otherwise good figure. I mean if they had designed it so the Rocket launcher could be removed, and he had a hand underneath it, it would have been great. As it is, the arm joint is too weak to actually take the weight of the launcher, and remain at an angled position. The best I can get it do is use his arm as a walking cane.

Still his transformation is not all that bad, but he's definitely one of the worst seeker moulds, up there with Armada Thrust.

I had that same dilemma. Glad to hear I made the right choice and left him on the shelf. (Coincidentally, I got Ramjet at that time, too.)

Classics Ramjet puts Cybertron Skywarp to shame. If you want the best Skywarp out there (Except MP!) get on ebay and drop the dime on the Skywarp/Magnus 2-pack. Best of the Classic Seekers, even better than Classics Starscream. And that's saying ALOT, cause Starscream has allways been my favorite TF.

QFT.

I'm so happy I picked up the two pack at target back when they were still available.

Cybertron Skywarp was bad. I have a feeling that Thundercracker was still worse, but a very hollow robot mode that doesn't actually lock into place much makes balancing out the weight of the cannon arm even more difficult. Do not bother with this mold.

Ramjet is superior to the Cybertron Thundercracker/Skywarp mold.

But the Cybertron Thundercracker/Skywarp mold is not as bad as everyone cracks it up to be, sure the one arm is a missile launcher dealy is pretty cruddy, the figure is otherwise fairly good, with a very nice alt mode, and a decent robot mode.

The only thing that truly screws Skywarp over is the fact that he is a mauve-purple all over, rather than black with purple highlights, a-la Classics Skywarp.

Have to disagree with that, Skywarp/Thundercracker was one of the few stinkers in the Cybertron lineup along with Runamuck and Buzzsaw.

I have the entire line save for those four because they were just awful. I actually bought Skywarp, opened him up, was annoyed at how craptastic he was and returned him.

A phoned in mold, big time, trumped in crappiness only by Runamuck

Well then Skywarp/Thundercracker is your only Cybertron line stinker, as both Runamuck and Buzzsaw's mold originate from the Armada line, alongside Longrack and Blurr.

To each their own, I knew I would be swimming against the flow on this one.

Actually, I LIKE Cybertron Skywarp. He does have that big-assed cannon for a arm issue, but he has a nice Alt mode, and he's fun to transform.

I was just pointing out that Classics Skywarp is THE BEST version of Skywarp, EVER. Except for MP SW, of course.

I've said it before, and I'll say it again: FEET LIKE A CHINESE TROPHY WIFE.

For the record, I'm very happy with my Ramjet and Cliffjumper purchases. I really need to get some more Decepticons in my collection though.

Cyb Skywarp is a pimp, the bright purple, cane that doubles as a weapon, all he needs are some floosie-bots

Which is why i have him posed next to Energon and Movie Arcee.

Now that you've said that, I think I'll get another Movie Arcee so he can have two slut-bots on his arms. the Energon Arcee is just too small.
