Cool, real gear LaserBeak.. well more like Buzzaw. But still, I'm totally going to get this. Just because its Laserbeak/Buzzaw.

I think that is a cool looking toy.

So what line are these supposed to fit into?

I am tempted... Considering getting him, the digital camera, and the camcorder.

The Movie Line. They are Movie related products.


They are supposed to be earphones I think, and the case transforms into Laserbeak.

I really got to say that the idea of life sized transformers is really appealing to me.

Woah! That's the best figure to come out of the movie line! I'll try to buy it off ebay during the general release. I just need some repro 'con labels to cover the silver decepticon symbol with the wierd eyes.

It's a listening device. The circular peice is attatched to let's say the back of a door and it amplifies the sound to the receiver so you can listen to what's going on on the other side.

He looks pretty cool, to bad there is no Soundwave figure for him to go with.

Yes! Thanks for that. I knew it looked far too wonky to be a mp3 player. The speaker (I'm guessing that's what it is?) looking like oversized buttons is what threw me off. That and what looks like a lack of an audio output jack.

Terrific! One of the best movie toys I've seen in terms of fitting the realistic aesthetic of the movie and referencing G1. This might be the best Laserbeak I've seen produced. On the whole, I think it's wise that the movie figures don't look like G1, even if I don't enjoy some of the particular designs, but we deserve one solid homage like this.

I don't care if everyone else has said it a few times:

LASERBEAK!!! That's SO cool. At least ONE of the movie robots looks like the original.

and what do you suppose soundwave would be? a docking station for the laserbeak mp3 player?

I may skip the main line figures and jsut buy all the real gear guys. They all rock so far. Like a more articulated throw back to Microman.
