Movie line, because they are the only toys that are available.

I WISH I could get into Cybertron, but there's no Cybertron stock in Australia. We haven't been as lucky as the Americans who got a surge in Cybertron products at Wal-Marts. The only Cybertron figure I have is GF Vector Prime, and I'ld love some more Cybertron guys. I just really regret not starting collecting while I was still back home in Hong Kong.

well i got into transformers with beast wars, but when beast machines came out i lost interets in tf, unfortunately this cost me to miss out on armada, cybertron, and other lines between beast wars and movie line, but now that i'm back into it thanks to the movie i'm trying to get Cybertron right now, which means online stores and ebay, because recently i got primus and now i want more cybertron, also armada unicron is a must for me right now.

just finished up a big beat wars splurge, now I'm getting some Cybertron figs and looking into some Armada ones.

Just need an '08 BB and Arcee, then I'll be done with the movie line. To bad its hard to locate a crappy Dreadwing, let alone the sought after figs :(

Cybertron is (IMO) the best transformers toy line there has ever been, it had pretty much everything, and I can only think of one (all new) toy in the line that I truly didnt like.

Sadly all we have left of cybertron is bucket loads of the same 6 or 7 tfs I bought 4 months ago before the classics came out.

Wow I share the same story, I was into Beast Wars, sorta sotpped when the Transmetals 2 line came out (although dragon Megatron came out), and then lost interest with Beast Machines. And then everything you said, happened exactly the same to me, except that I don't have Cybertron Primus, and I don't really want Primus or Unicron or any of the big ones from past lines just yet. Go small with the deluxes, voyagers and ultras for now.

The big ones I AM looking for are Leader Megatron and Brawl.

Movie Line - Unleashed mainly... still deciding basically I am a big fan of Unleashed but... I still collect what I can get from the Voyagers and Deluxes and maybe Leaders...

I agree. A funny thing since I only have one Cybertron toy. I remember looking at Galaxy Convoy and Primus and others in Hong Kong TRU last last year (they had everything) and even then when I wasn't into Transformers, I had the intuition that apart from Beast Wars (which I absolutely loved), this would be the most versatile and epic toy line ever.

I was a fan of G1 but stopped when the first Beast cartoon started showing, i kept seeing RiD and Energon figures in shops, i always thought they looked cool but never bought any until my sister bought me a G1 reissue prime for xmas about 4 years ago, i went out and bought a bendy prime..i got a few TFs at boot sales for nostalgias sake.

but i only got back into TF collecting seriously last year when a friend told me about a really cool OPs toy he saw, i did a bit of research and it turned out to be MP Prime, i then started looking at the cartoons and discovered Cybertron, i immediadltly went out and bought Prime and started watching the toons, i started collecting cybertron and was hooked, i now have about 10 cyb figs including Supreme SS and Soundwave, a couple of alts OPs and Shockwave, and im now collecting movie figs and classics and now that i have a job ill be getting some G1s (both KO and original) and whatever else takes my fancy

My main collection are only Classics and Movie lines.

I'm not very impressed with the Energon, Universe, Beast Wars, etc. lines. The alt modes and colors are too far off from realism.

I'm not very much into G1 toys either. No articulation is a big turn-off. Although i still stare at them when i see them in the shops. Mainly for nostalgic reasons. I used to collect G1 as a kid. Although due to budget constraints, i can't really call mine a collection per se. Just a few items i can squeeze out from school allowances.

The Alternators/Binaltech have very good alt modes. But the bot modes of some of them are not so good, not to mention the limited articulation on some of them. (Such as Tracks legs) But my real issue is the size. They're too large for my taste, especially if the intention is to collect several characters, not just one or two. Hence i stopped the series after buying 2 bots. Plus received one as a birthday gift, and later, on bought 2 more due to their ridiculously cheap bargain price. For a grand total of 5.

Which goes to say that i also skipped the Masterpiece series. Didn't buy any of them.

Beast Wars, dude. Beast Wars. 8)

my greatest regret was hating it utterly when it first aired... now i gave the series a second chance and after a few episodes, i was so hooked. deep storylines and memorable characters, too bad they never got into animation the other cool toy releases.

*sigh.*

though if i come across a deluxe arcee and some pretty nifty cybertron figs, i'd pick them up too. :P

started through the Armada line, getting Armada Starscream and Wheeljack first. then i got energon energon Hot Shot & Rodimus.

but lately, around here i live in Norway, the only cybertron toys i've seen so far here are Scrapmetals, Ransack GTS and Unicron tank thingie.

Never saw a Leader Class Optimus Prime here, just LC Megatrons.
all out for starscreams (got the last one they had in this local shop), ironhide's and mostly all wave 1 deluxes arent to be found. (except Scorponok, which I'm not getting, cause the robot mode sucks anus. robotic scorpion anus)

If you can call that a robot mode.

Well I'm rather a noob too dude. I started with a classics legend Jetfire. After that, The movie came out and I had to have'em all. I bought all of the movie first waves in a week. at EU prices! Since then I have been impatiently waiting for the new waves of Movie, while collecting some more classics like Jetfire and Optimus, as well as A couple of Cybertrons, like Scattershot, Evac, and Optimus. ATM I have 29, but 2 months ago I had 1. I'm a junkie!

Armada, forever and always. I more Mini-cons than actual transformers. Armada is my most complete collection. All I need is a few transactions on Ebay and i'm done. Heck, I've enjoyed the line so much, I might have to start collecting their Takara counterparts.

i would have included alternators, if they weren't so dang expensive. its a pity though, they are really so nice.

i have a few cybertron figures, but im really feelin' the classic figures and cant wait for the next line to come out under universe

and i'll probably try and pick up g1 jazz and 08 bumblebee once they hit shelves again

Not all Titaniums are good. Soundwave is pure trash. And Jetfire is just wrong. GI Joe Megatron is also garbage. Stay away from those. Optimal Optimus is okay, but doesn't speak to me.

Cybertron's Deluxe and larger figures are pretty cool. Some Scout Class figures like Armohide are neat too.

The Classics line is really cool. Get them if you can find them! More will come in 2008!

Alternators turned out to be a disappointment to me. They look great in car modes, but quite a few of them are a nightmare to transform, and some just don't look quite right in robot mode. I only have a few. If only I could have Camshaft and Mirage... :( At least a Prowl...

Well, apart from my Bumblebee collection, I really just buy whatever I can afford that I like the look of. I generally wait for sales or clearances to make my move, since I have little in the way of money. I'm sure it's going to result in a bizarre assortment in the future, but hopefully that just helps to make it unique.

I got started in energon but really poured it on in Cybertron( greatest series ever )I collected about 20 figures from that line. I have quite a few movie toys but probably won't get any more for a while.
