Do you think Hasbro will rerelease Classics in Universe?

Oviously there are going to be new "Classics" in the Universe line like Sunstreaker, Sideswipe, and Octane. But what about the old one? I think it would help Hasbro stagger out the release of new molds by having rereleases/repaints/remolds mixed in with them in the assortments. They could rerelease some of the harder to find characters. Maybe repaint some of them. Sunstrorm and Nemesis Prime come to mind. Maybe a Targetmaster Rodimus remold? Or hey, how about repainting/remolding Mirage into Sureshot and giving him a targetmaster too?
I think it would be a good idea since there is a new generation(the movie/Animated generation) coming into the fandom, and it would be a sin to deprive them of the Classics they might have missed out on.

Yeah, I forgot to mention that. Eh hem...
FORGET ABOUT THE BOTCON EXCLUSIVES!!You can propose any ideas besides the rerelease of the Games of Deception Seekers.
Though I personally would like another Thrust to repaint.
Maybe green or something. But NO RERELEASES OF THE BOTCON
EXCLUSIVE molds and colors!

I would be more surprised if we did not see re-releases of the 2006/2007 Classics molds.
With only 3 repaints and 1 retool, in the line, I am sure Hasbro did not make all the money they possibly could from the molds.
I expect a Trypticon or BW Dinobot repaint of Grimlock, a Dragstrip (or Decepticon Dragstrip) repaint of Mirage, and Hot Rod could be repainted into Dead End or Brakedown.

Alot of people would love to see SS from classics re-released in the universe line I bet, and maybe they can release all 3 of our beloved Seekers (Starscream, Thundercracker and Skywarp) in a 3 pack or individual packs.

Can they not even do repainted versions of the botcon only seekers? Surely they can do that? Make Thrust's shade slightly different, have different markings, hey presto, none Botcon attendees happy, as well as the few who managed to go there.

Unfortunately, they will not release Thundercracker mass market. IF you want him, you will have to make him yourself out of a
Classics Starscream, like I and others have done, or try and buy him on Ebay or something. Hasbro has already stated publicly that they will never release any convention exclusives to mass market. Thus, no
Classics Thundercracker, no
Classics Thrust, no
Classics Dirge, No
Classics Alpha Trion. If you want them, make them. Other than Thrust and Alpha Trion, They are just simple repaints, and not very hard to do. Thrust and Alpha Trion are more difficult because you need to fabricate new parts—a new head for Alpha Trion, and new wings and tail wings for Thrust—both of which are a challenge.

Did you not see the big red lettering that states in direct detail that there will be NO BOTCON FIGURES released to the masses?????? Forget about Thundercracker, he's not coming out. I would love to have one, but Hasbro screwed everyone who could not go to Botcon (which is 99.999% of us). Skywarp came out with Ultra Magnus 2-Pak as a Target exclusive, but we might see him again. Maybe. Slim chance.

I don't have anything funny to add about the BotCon exclusives. Now if you'll excuse me, I have to get back to my ivory tower.

How about repainting Classics Starscream into a homage to his "Super" Armada figure, you know from the show, when he turns blue...
Sorry

As long as the repaints aren't as garish as the last time Hasbro did a TF line called Universe, I wouldn't mind seeing existing Classics get a second go. I can easily see Hasbro cranking out another Sunstorm and Nemesis Prime, to be sure, but I'd prefer they project a little more thought into their repaints this time.
Of course, I also wouldn't mind seeing some of those unreleased Titanium molds put to use - anything that will stave off the umpteenth reuse of the RID Side Burn and Energon Arcee molds.

Seconded. I honestly thought I could pick up Screamer anytime, but his current price is $50 on Amazon, and it's probably around that on E-bay, so I think that's extreme. I'm really hoping it's just the movie hype that put him up so much, and it'll go down. Glad I decided to buy all the other classic deluxes except Cliffjumper(little interest) when they were new despite having no job, and that TRU still had a Ramjet yesterday, which I picked up. I wasnt' gonna let him do a Starscream on me!

Technically, Hasbro could well release a Universe Thundercracker and Ramjet.
Just use different shades of red and blue to the ones used in the GoD set.
Not that I'm bothered. I'm working with my bro to get hold of that set anywhos.

The Classics Starscream wasn't 100% G1 accurate in it's paint scheme, at least in vehicle mode, whilst I believe the Botcon exclusives were. Why not use the screamer design in the Thundercracker colours?

I would hope we see the Seeker mold again as Sunstorm, and a redeco of the Classic Sideswipe as Red Alert.
I know they can't release a Classic blue Thundercracker as such, but what about a Thundercracker in his Action Master colors? Snazzy robot from rainbow hell, that one.

action master cracker's head is pretty cool. very BW-dinobot-ish. the rest? surely they'd be put on trial for releasing that to the public.

If they are going to re-release anything in the New Universe line, I'd like it to be seeker repaints of Cybertron Voyager Starscream. Which saw a very limited release, being packaged together with Vector Prime. The mould saw No individual release, bar the Surpreme sized one.
Anyway, I doubt we'll see anything remotely related to any figure in the Classics line in the New Universe Line, at least not in the first few waves. Which would maybe put a re-release of these figures some time in 2009 maybe.

I'd be all for that.
