Might be hard to explain. But if you can understand are they like the main series of all shows mainly the movie. Will they appear in all series?

Well, I'm sure Prime, Ironhide, Ratchet and bumblebee will appear in the next movie in a similar way - the designs won't be wasted, I'm sure.

Megatron, I'm not so sure.

They'll probably reformat Megs and make him Galvatron, it's far too soon to do that, but this is Holywood and they'll do it cuase it's easier than writing something else.

You mean, redeco the current movie toy and call it Galvatron?

Or make Galvatron the next movie's villain, and make a new toy for that?

(former option's been done before I heard)

Oh it'll be a new toy. Of that there is no doubt.

Im more interested in how they will handle the fact that Prime, Bumbles, and the other bots n remaining cons wont have changed (could this be the first toy line since G1 that dosnt change prime for the second series of toys?).

(And origanaly Galvatron was an entirly new toy/charecter, made out of Megatron's dieing body by Unicron, see the G1 movie. The G1 movie is by far the better movie of the two, it has a plot.)

I've seen the G1 movie. I'm surprised at how many Autobots died, as opposed to the Decepticons, who didn't lose as many.

I also thought Cybertron Galvatron was pretty cool. Loved his batmobile form.

I wonder if movie Galvatron, if he is revealed to be true, will have an Earthen mode.

I get what you're asking here Bumbled.

Generally, yes. Deluxe, Voyager, and Leader Class size figures are normally what you'd find as part of the main line.

However, there are exceptions to that rule:

Armada

Mini-Con 3-Packs/Basic ($6.99)
Deluxe ($9.99)
Mega ($19.99)
Ultra ($25.99)
Leader ($39.99)
Supreme ($49.99)

Energon

Mini-Con 3-Packs/Basic
Deluxe
Voyager
Ultra
Leader
Supreme
NOTE: Prices from Armada, carried over for Energon and Cybertron lines as well.

Cybertron

Mini-Con 3-Packs/Basic
Deluxe
Voyager
Ultra
Leader
Supreme

Classics

Mini-Con 3-Packs
Deluxe
Voyager
NOTE: No Basics, Leaders, or Ultra in this line. Past this point, the Ultra price point figures have been dropped.

Movie

Deluxe
Voyager
Leader
Ultimate
NOTE: It's unknown at this time whether or not we'll see any Supreme sized figures, such as the Blackout that everyone's been hoping for. Also of note, no Basics and again, no Ultras. And no, Real Gear is not considered the Basics portion of the line. None of the figures actually appear in the movie. They're a TransFormers brand, but technically not part of the movie line itself. In fact, if you ever look at a shipping case, the movie cases say TRA MOV (insert class here), and the Real Gear say TRA REAL GEAR

Animated

Deluxe
Voyager
NOTE: No Leader, Ultra, Supreme or Basic class figures in the line. Deluxe and Voyager only.

Classics/Universe 2.0

Deluxe
Voyager
NOTE: Again, like Animated, no Basics, Leader, Ultra or Supreme.

So even if Leader Class is dropped altogether (and it looks like it might be until the next movie) the Deluxes and Voyagers are the core figure sizes of the lines and you can always expect the $10.00 and $20.00 price points.

I see no need to bring back Ultras really, but Leader Class has had some excellent figures...it's a shame they'll be phased out until the sequel. :(

There, I hope that was able to help you some.

Oops sorry Bumbles!

A bit disappointing they're phasing out Supreme and Leader Class. No more big impressive Leaders - literally. :P

Oh well, which means less money for me to spend. Yippee!

Haha I only have one Leader and that's movie Prime. I MIGHT get Megatron and I am planning to get Brawl. After that it's all deluxes and voyagers, like you. 8)

Haha Unleashed is up first on my line, or perhaps it looks that way. I might get Voyager Ironhide and 2008 Deluxe Bumblebee... who knows I might get all

I don't think Unleashed Megatron and Prime have been released in Australia yet... all I see are Bumblebee Unleasheds.

I wouldn't get ALL of them. Some of them are pretty crap. The only really excellent movie Voyager imo is Ironhide. Ratchet is so-so, and Starscream and Blackout are poo.

And when I'm talking about the deluxes and voyagers I'm talking about from other lines too, such as Cybertron, Energon and Classics. The only 'big' toys beyond Voyager I will get are Leader Class, and there's only 2 more from this line for me to get (Brawl and Megs)

I think the Leader-Voyager-Deluxe-Legend classes are going to be the main classification in each series.

I could have sworn that Lugnutz or Blitzwing from the Animated series were meant to be in the Ultra size class... meh, it will teach me to pay more attention in the future.

If Voyager is going to be as big as the Transformers figures are to be for the next year or so, I think it is a very smart move by Hasbro, they'll make more money from having 4 Voyager figures, than having 2 Voyager and 2 Ultra figures.

Yer, but in the future they will get more advanced and put figures that are so detailed with hardly any joints like Unleashed but it can transform which will be hard for it, it will have more electronic things and all.

You're joking right?

Fewer joints = less articulation, which is a backwards step for Hasbro if the Animated line is anything to go by. Electronics can be used as a fun gimmick, but more often than not they detract from the actual toy.

Unless of course you meant that toys would use more electronics in order to transform???

Well what I really meant was joints but not seeing them. Making a Transformer look more realistic rather than having a ball stick out of his shoulder to keep his arm. Maybe put the ball inside the actual toy so that his arm looks like it doesn't need any support. I mean look at the Unleashed and I know you think they are ****. But imagine them having articulation and transformation some way. Wouldn't that be good.
