All plastic no Die Cast and in my opinion he is still not the correct clors!!! Your better buying a custom off ebay and paying the extra money for an accurate G1 MP Starscream... They made him a dirty white color.....

he has a metal frame. but my japanese mp starscream is LOLing at how people have convieniently forgotten about how they disliked the hip pads, which are designed to go with realistic colours, yet these colours are hardly realistic, so people should be moaning more. also, do you see hinges that are the same colour as the plane body on ameriscream? nope, black hinges on a white body.

color doesn't bother me. I never got a G1 starscream when i was a kid and this is even better. I finally got out my MP prime's weapons last night and they even add to why he's one of the greatest toys of all time. The megatron accessories are sick, energon axe great and the ion blaster -sweet.

What I am interested in finding out is what the differences between the USA Edition Takara-Tomy release and the Walmart release are going to be.

I have a feeling it will be black vs grey hinges, and the markings on the back of the jet mode.

and weathering paint app. the hasbro model that was displayed did not have wear near the exhaust of the vulcan cannon for instance.

it probably will get pushed to late Oct. early Nov. that's my guess, based on what the people who talked to Hasbro @ Comiccon

One key point none of us have brought up here...can any Wal-Mart associate, or person in the know...give us the UPC code for this guy so we can start looking?

If he is due in September, we can at least start getting ahead of the competition by being there when the case is cracked open.
