I think the massive amount of $$$ we've all dropped in speaks louder than anything.

And I'd save the effort for a little bit after the movie. I suspect that Hasbro isn't just unwilling to continue Classics parallel to the movie toys, but perhaps also contractually obligated not to. :?

So, patience is your friend. Assuming a lot of Classics-type figures don't sneak in under the movie line, or in the subsequent TF:Heroes line, I expect to see Classics return victoriously in a year or two. That's my gut feeling any way.

Trust us. They know how successful the line is. They're stopping it for the moment to concentrate on the movie lines. It wouldn't surprise me if they brought the line back after the movie to appear beside whatever they come up with for the Heroes series.

The rumor is that that classics line is the Heroes series of toys. This was a test set to see if people would go for a more old school cartoon or if they wanted something more mordern with a armada, energon or cybertron like gimick to it.

All we can do is wait out the flood of movie stuff and hope...

I like the sound of that rumor though. 8)

Odd that you're the only one I've ever heard mention that.

Ive not heard it said out loud. Though I have often wondered myself if this may be the case. Could explain the plans for Prime to have a trailer we droped at the last min, maybe it'd allow for a slightly different prime using the same mold for the Heros line.

Of course this is utter speculation, and is probably also utter balls.

I'd sign it fifty times over as different people if need be.

If everyone on the site signed it, and maybe some others, then I doubt that Hasbro could ignore it.
I do suspect also that Hasbro know how sucessful this line is. After all, they're releasing the entire line, including the exclusives, around the globe. And the sales figures must make them giggle with joy.

Can't wait for Jazz and the bot bros.
And lovable Cosmos.

Count me in. The Classics line is too good to be discontinued. They could do do much more, escpecially w/the Seekers that were left out, as well as a few Minibots. Even Glavatron could get in there somwewhere as long as he isn't a Megatron re-paint. I will kill someone over at Hasbro if they do that, even if it's the janitor. Yes, you heard me, the janitor.

I must agree, I've never heard about this either. I'd be interested in knowing your source. If you are correct then there is hope for the Classics line yet. ;)^

I'd like to see Classics: Ironhide, Rachet, the rest of the Dinobots, Jazz, Shockwave and combiners such as Defensor, Devastator, and Superion!

I doubt they'll do Ironhide and Ratchet, as they did those exclusives some time back.
Who knows? There is no reason they wouldn't do all of those tfs you've named. It certainly make a lot of moolah.

I'd love to see the Classics and Titanium 6" continue. Best runs since RID.

I have to say Classics is my favorite line since G1 hit the shelves.I would like to see the line continue as long as it followed the same path as it has started.I would like to see more new molds of my favorite G1 figures. If it all turns into past line repaints and minicons im out.
