Did a black base coat in acrylics and using a silver lacquer for the top coat. heres where I am so far! Not too shabby for a first timer if I may say so myself..

im going to leave a lot of black on him as you can see on his lower legs. I dont like him completely silver... lots of silver and some black... thats my artistic vision
