Why does target get all the exclusives? I mean seriously they have so many damn exclusives it's ridiculous at best. I really don't care for target stores i guess is why i'm complaining. Why is target so great they get all the exclusives? Ok! Ok! I'm done rambling.

All I want from them is G1 colors Jazz. After that, Target can go choke on themselves. Well, after I get a couple of new cargo pants too, then they can go choke on themselves.

Personally, I don't like the idea of "exclusive" since it excludes some folks who don't have a Target they can get to, or a Wal-Mart, or even maybe a TRU. It's just a dumb marketing ploy to get you to go to their store, and I don't like to be used like that either.

Hasbro and Target cut a deal so Target would be 'the' headquarters for movie figures.

figured as much!! I totally agreee the exclusives idea is just bad!! THe people who live in towns with no targets are screwed. Granted i have a target or two near me.

I don't mind certain stores getting exclusives... AS LONG AS THEY FREAKIN STOCK THEM!

I gave up collecting Star Wars because of store exclusives, that I never saw anywhere except ebay. And since the fact that "Scalpers don't exist" has been argued to death on other threads, I must just assume that Target just never puts out exclusives, since I've never seen any, Star Wars or Transformers, at any of the 5 Targets i check regularly.

I don't mind Target exclusives since there are LIKE TEN TARGETS WITHIN 20 MILES OF ME

Walmart exclusives on the other hand...

let's just say the last round involved cutting them out of boxes on pallets and then never seeing them again.

If you live in the northwest somewhere between everett on seattle the best target for exlusives is the northgate store although the alderwood store is getting better.

My problem is that there's not a Target within 70 miles of me. I have to beg my freinds to check out the Targets in their area and then of course, they don't stock the frickin aisles.

I've really been hating Target for the past month, for they have had NOTHING at all on the shelves!!!!

This week however, thanks to target ... I have completed my movie line (2 of everything currently available)

1 exception is that I only have 1 dropkick.

I had a $214 target haul the other day. One day you'll hit it big and change your mind about target ... even if only for a day!

I don't mind because Target stocks the exclusives. I die a little bit inside everytime I see another Wal-Mart or Toys R Us exclusive.

Because unlike Wal-Mart, Target will do their best to put them in EVERY store untill their stock is depleted.

Wal-Mart is a whole different kind of rant in my mind. They never stock and if they do they only put out one box. They have gawd knows how many cases of goodies in the back room. But yeah, once they open up the new Target close to my work, I will be one happy camper!

They have more exclusives because they decide to invest more to produce them.

It is not like Hasbro pitches these to them Target comes to Hasbro and tells them they want X amount of exclusive items, then Hasbro churns them out.

Hasbro only make exclusives once a store requests it, Hasbro would not waste money on making things they would not sell.

If you look around, like I did after getting hardcore back into Transformers, EVERYWHERE has exclusive everything, groceries, cds, tons of other items, I never realized until all the toy collecting how bad it is.

For, instance I bought Hot Fuzz the other night from Wal-Mart, there was an exclusive extra disk, but at Best Buy their exclusive was Hott Fuzz with Shaun of the Dead.

Also, lots of the seasons dvds that Target has have some kind of exclusives.

It is rough, but that is what people do to get business.

I LOVE TARGET!! I picked up a G1 repaint Starscream yesterday and I love him! Wish I could find a G1 Jazz.

it's cause we(walmart) get Masterpiece Starscream in a couple months =)
