When I buy my toys from taiwan or hong kong, they are a lot cheaper than what I pay in europe.

Do you have american packaging?
japanese packaging?
or packaging from the above with the chinese logo etc. as a sticker over it?

It all doesn't make sense because I don't think they differentiate between the chinese or taiwanese packaging.

for the well informed, are the toys still made in Macau? or any of the "free trade zones" in china? if that is the case, I would wager that the toys would need to be "imported" much the same way as we have to do.
