I'm starting to have worries by ordering from TFsource

I have preordered from them back in May for an encore Megatron. I've sent them the money order on July 24. I asked them when will they start shipping my order since they've got the encore stuff from Japan a week ago Aug 20th ,and I also asked them for a tracking number. They've said don't worry you'll get the confirmation soon plus the ups tracking number. That was this last friday I emailed them on Aug 24. I've been waiting all day today and I haven't recieved any email from them. Should I wait a bit ,or should I email them again? Somehow I have a bad feeling about this.

My paypal receit says the following:

It depends how they are importing and if the shipment got stuck in customs, plus they have to add those silly orange caps to all megatrons- even then- Im sure a large shipment of megs will be held extra in customs. They are just probably backed-up on encore orders so they arent answering emails about it (Im not saying thats right), but if shipments are behind they have bigger problems.

Well I hope that's not the case ,and whomever ordered from them including myself that we all get our orders shipped soon without no problems. Keeping my fingers crossed.

Don't worry - the encores are def. not sold out in Japan- there is plenty. It sounds like shipments are behind- thats to be expected with importing- esp Megatron. I will say that the packaging of the encores ended up being larger than I think most retailers expected, so they might have gone with the slowest/cheapest option of shipping.

You guys have NOTHING to worry about I promise you. I Have ordered from them many times. They ship the orders out in the order they were received. These things have been listed for quite awhile. TF source is without a doubt one of, if not the best place, to order imported Tfs from. They also have the best pre- order prices. The quality of their packing is no less than outstanding! Wait till you receive them and you will see what I mean. They are complete professionals who care about the products they sell.

Tfsource is as reliable as it gets. Please read what it says on their front page regarding encores. It clearly states that they are shipping them out this week in the order that the order was recieved. Skywarp isn't even out yet.

Just be patient, as a few others said, TFsource is rock solid in their treatment of costumers. I have ordered from them many times, I always come away impressed.

TFSource rocks. Curt (owner) is one of the best if not the best online retailer IMHO.

I have a friend who orders semi-regularly from TFSource and he's never had an issue. I've met Curt a few times at BotCons over the years and picked stuff up at his booth. I've never known him, or heard 2nd hand, where he didn't make good on an order.

He and Joel(BBTS) are two top notch online retailers.

Finally got it today from TFscource. Took long enough. Recieved it from the DhL delivery van. It's red and yellow. It's nicely packed. Love the encore Megatron 80's like box without the flap. Prefer it without it. It seemed it was opened before but they put some tape there next to where it was opened. The barrel didn't came with a plug. There's no glue residue inside it. I did notice the chrome on Megatron had a couple of finger marks. It's the same mold as TFC 6 G1 Megatron. A couple of visible scratch marks on one of his arms. The two trigger clips are not closed. They are mildly open. Will have to close them myself. The smaller chrome gun doesn't have any finger marks. Neither does his energon sword. It brings all the p-38 attachments as well. Along with the 2 plastic red bullet trees. Instructions and unused sticker sheet. It doesn't bring the mace . Got the preorder one for $50.95 bucks plus $8.00 shipping. 58.95 total.
It's nice. The only small issue I have that it has a couple of finger prints ,and a few visible scratches on the P 38.
But I'm not complaining too much especially that the price is quite reasonable. It's quite rare finding a Megatron reissue for 50 dollars. I give TFsource overall a B+.

The majority of what you describe there probably has nothing to do with TFSource. Glad your figure arrived though!

Thankyou lanz. When I transformed it I've notice it had some finger prints on the legs and the inner skeleton too. Before even touching it. It felt used. The TFC #6 version that I've bought from Toynk back in 2004 never had any finger marks or scratches. This one also doesn't transform as smoothly as the TFC #6 version. I'm a bit dissapointed actually.

I got my set from TFSource today. As always they were impeccably packed and the boxes were perfect. I have no such complaints about scratches, fingerprints etc though. Then again, Takara's QC has been slipping over the last couple of years from what I have read around here. Ironic, since to me, it has seemed as if Hasbro has drastically improved theirs over that time.

Well maybe for you but I'm not making any of this up.
