Those are the Universe figs that have been in Dollar Stores for a while. They take unsold toys from every line and pack them in those cardbacks for $5. my Dollar General has about 50 different ones.

hot dam, man. That's a nice deal ... our dollar stores only get the REEEEELY cruddy TFs, like that knockoff ones that shatter when exposed to a strange thing called.. air apparently

That isn't really the new universe line they won't be hitting stores untill oct 08. These are just left over stock that hasbro had in wherehouse and is cleaning out. Although right now they could have sent them to regular stores like tru,target and walmart, and they would still sell like there is no tomorrow.

There's a walmart and a TRU in albany that still have loads of these exact cybertron figures. And everytime I check there for new toys, their stock is entirely UNaltered.

I guess the kids aren't all clamoring for Repugnus like we thought they were.

Most of the walmarts in my area are clogged with cybertron stuff. I think the problem is that for some reason, they have 'em stacked in a different area ... away from the movie stuff. Who knows how many times I walked right past them.

TRU's usually have all transformers stacked together.

Sometimes you have to look for them, but chances are ... they're in the store somewhere.
