Wanted to tell someone, non transfans dont get how special this figure is.

today, I recieved my MISB X9 Ravage, I have been bidding on this figure for soooo long and I always am outbid by someone willing to pay far too much.

Anyway, the box is an easy C9, I am thrilled with it.

Anyone else have this rare beauty in their collection?

That is one darn spiffy figure. Congrats! I unfortunately do not own it or the Tigatron repaint, but I hope to one day own Tigatron.

I've missed about six on E-Bay over the last year or two. It's very high on my grail list too. Congratulations :APPLAUSE: :APPLAUSE:

wow, congrats dude! awesome find. how much did you get him?

also, i'm wondering why he's so expensive. is he an exclusive or something? because i see takara exclusives like magmatron, big convoy, et. al. that really don't fetch the uber-expensive prices eBay sellers have for this fig.

Thanks for the cudos all, I won the auction for $133.50. I was willing to go to $150, that has always been my cutoff point for an MISB X9 and I have been constantly outbid the last 6-7 times.

He is considered rare because he never saw production in north america. A highly show accurate Ravage, that never saw release in Canada or the States.

Also, he was the only reformatted decepticon that showed up as a predacon in the BW series.

I am not sure how much production he got in Japan but that also could be a factor.

Yeah, I recently got Transmetal Tigatron as well. I just love the mold, and the repaint is so different between Big Cat and X9, they look like completely seperate characters, not redecos.

Tigatron seems somewhat more attainable, I have seen him sell on ebay in the high $40s. X9 always manages at least $120

Thanks. I suspected this might be the one, but I didn't know it was refered to as X9 Ravage, thought it'd be Beast Wars Ravage or something.

It is Beast Wars Ravage, X9 is just the # that Takara assigns it for the toyline. The same way rattrap transmetal is C43.

I call him X9 by habit, nothing more.

I had no idea that prices for those two had gone up that much.

I'm glad I made it a point to get them when I did.

Congrats. I love him and his twin. My favorite BW figs.

I had a Ravage once. Mint but loose with no packaging. I had to give him up because the guy who sold it on here had actually already had it on hold for another member but had forgotten. So being the moron I am I decided to be a good samaritan and give it to the guy who originally called it.... I will never live that down. Especially since he only cost me $65.

Geez I didnt think he is worth that much or is that that sort after. I have him I opened him and transformed hi mlike twice now he is boxed somewhere I traded him for a trailbreaker and sandstorm back then. dont know if that was worth it or not.

Cool! I had to wait quite a while to find him at $80 a year ago, and post-movie, that's not doing badly. He's maybe the only figure I've let remain MISB, since I usually think toys should be enjoyed. He already looks cool, though. Would you believe I saw a Buy It Now for $20 once? This was in the already sold section, mind you! It went fast. Let's hope I never have cause to sell mine.

Yeah, his value has really jumped.

there are only a few dealers that sell him on ebay, they sell him over and over again. Must have cases of X9.

I opened mine up of course, I dont collect MISB. I just like owning bots that havent been transformed by anyone but me.

The packaging is amazing too, Ive always loved the Takara packaging where you can remove the toy without ANY damage to the box.

I dont know why hasbro doesnt adopt this method.

Congratulations! It's a gorgeous figure, welcome to the owners' club.

What "scheme" are you going to use for the stickers? (I think I used the Decepticon theme for mine)

I think I may just leave it be for now. I am always wary of applying stickers and X9 was quite expensive.

I am cool with the Pred sig in his chest.

I envy your ownership of this figure. He's one of a handful left of BW show characters I still need. That's one less on the market! Heh, but seriously good for you man. He's on my list.

especially if you dont want to spend $200 on one.

I think I will display him with Transmetal 01 Cheetor and Transmetal 01 Tigatron. All rare BW figs in some form or another.

What Transmetal Tigatron are you talking about? There isn't one. Unless you're talking about the Botcon exclusive from several years back. He's the same mold as Ravage.
