Crap!, No Money - No Leader Class Brawl!

Well, this really sucked for me today. Was at my local Walmart getting some treats for my sons and low and behold there were two Leader Class Brawls on the shelf. But I didn't have the money to spare to pick him up!!

I may just wait for the Desert Attack Leader Class Brawl anyways. At least that way I get him in a different size class and different deco to boot! :P

I think the original Leader Brawl looks better than Desert Attack Brawl. I dunno - army green seems to fit better with Brawl, and at least the clear plastic is transparent, rather than that horrible light blue. Why not wait and just get normal Brawl? Repaints have rarely been better than their originals.

Dont be surprised if he sits in shelves. He is a non Leader Leader class figure, so chances are he will do a Cybertron Metroplex and warm some shelving.

I can't wait for that glorious day. 8)

I still wonder why they made Leader Brawl instead of Blackout. Is it because more people will recognize a tank?

Leader Brawl has been a shelf warmer at my local Targets and Walmarts since Friday... I don't know why... He's schweet!

I do know how you feel though... but it wasn't leader brawl in my case... It was Cybertron Supreme Starscream... I went back a couple days later and he was gone :(

There's a couple of Supreme Starscreams no one seems to want to buy in 2 of my local Toyworlds. I once visited a Toyworld out in Chermside and they had atleast 16 boxes of Metroplex.

Sigh... if only Override GTS was in the same sad situation... :P

Who are the planet leaders in Cybertron series btw? Optimus Prime, Metroplex, Override, and Leo Breaker right? Or was it someone else?

I never did think to consider that since Brawl is not a leader like Prime or Megs that he might warm the shelf eventually. Still the Desert Attack Leader Brawl just looks so cool though! :-?

I was never in a situation like that. I was in a situation wher there were two figures I wanted, but only had money for ONE.

I usually go by the figure I think is the rarest

Like Concept BB vs Bonecrusher...hmmm... decisions, decisions...LOL

I found Leader Class Brawl tonight. I was absolutely lucky this time. (I have been before on occasion, but I don't want people thinking that I take this good fortune for granted...)

I saw him at the store twice, to be exact. I had some shopping to do earlier this afternoon and saw him sitting there and I just about fainted. There were four (two full cases, from what I could tell, it's just him in a case, no Megatrons...) and I was hoping I'd be able to get him Friday when I get paid, hoping he'd still be there.

Fortunately, my uncle gave us gift cards as a get well present for my mom's recovery (her pelvis snapped in half and one half withered away. Now, with a bone graft, it's slowly rebuilding itself...) and she and my dad talked it over and they told me to go back and pick him up tonight.

Glad I did. One sold, then mine, leaving two. I have no doubts that he'll be gone by Friday. Generally new product like that flies off the shelves. (At least the first shipment, perhaps the second one. The third one and beyond seem to warm the shelves. As evidenced by the TEN Voyager Megatrons...)

He's definitely a great figure. (Not trying to rub it in, I swear. Sorry! :( )

I hope you guys can get him, I think we all deserve a little something.

He's not warming any shelves! This figure is bad ass! Hes possable, has a bunch of sound effects, hidden guns, a blade, looks great in alt mode and is huge in robot mode.

Cyb. Metroplex........was a brick. A big blue and white brick. And the Desert deco.......whats the point? Is it a homage to another past character?

Yeah, normally, I would expect an item like this to warm shelves till xmas sale time. However, the way the movie toys have been vanishing, this time, maybe not.

Well stronger leader class sales lead to more leader class figures! Hasbro, please give us a leader class blackout! PLEASE!
