Energon Superion question.

Hey, I know it's probably a stupid question, but I just got Energon Superion, and I was wondering if the connectors that hold Treadbolt and Windrazor's guns together in Superion mode could be attached to the individual robots planes. That is to say, when the bots are seperated, do I have to have two easily losable connectors kicking around?
Thanks in advance.

Such a useful response.
Pretty much, I think you can only attatch one end of the connector to one of the guns on the wings... it looks pretty lame, so I just leave the connector with all my other miscellaneous TF bits that don't fit anywhere...

Its a poorly designed weapon/foot/claw contraption.
I usually just store in in my loose parts drawer. And pull it out when i want to combine them. Not that I do it very often, since Superion just doesn't like to stay together.

I only use that part to hold the feet together. Otherwise it goes with the cyber planet keys and other random tf stuff.
Don't forget that you can transform the two bombers differently so that they have elbows!
Do that, and you just need a pair of G1 Superion hands or the like.

Which figures make up the complete Superion? I happened across a Windrazor today out of the blue and I'd like to complete Superion if I can find the others.

I just treat those as part of the energon star, cyber key overload, weapons case bin.
Cybertron rocks.

All of the Energon Combiners have a system where all of their accessories/weapons are integrated and work in all modes. (Aerial weapon, hand held weapon, claw/foot)
The list of figures for Superion Maximus are as follows:
Sky Shadow *
Storm Jet
Terradive *
Treadshot **
Windrazor **
*= Same mold, but repainted. **= Same setup with the other two limbs, but different plane models.
The connector for the two guns is actually supposed to remain on the one gun, and just swing out of the way. (Hence the closed loop, and the opened one, like a wrench.)

Thanks Autobot032! How many combiners were there in the Energon line?

Three
I guess I'm still after Windrazor and Sky Shadow then, as well as Storm Jet.

What are the other two combiners aside from Superion? And which bots makes up those ones?

Constructicon Maximus (This was the base for the Classics Devastator Repaint):
Made up of:
Steamhammer (torso)
Bonecrusher *
Sledge *
Dustorm **
Wideload **
and
Bruticus Maximus
Made up of:
Barricade (Torso)
Blackout *
Stormcloud *
Blight **
Kickback **
I think Bruticus Maximus looks the best and has the best head of all 3 combiners. Also has the best individual bots.

Thank you very much Overcracker. I think I may have to hunt down some of these.

You can still find Energon combiners at retail where you live?
Damn.
I would say Bruticus is my fave. He has a great gestalt form, but then I think Devastator and Superion have excellent gestalt forms too. Except Superion needs a lil help to get there...

I recently discovered a dollar store in my town has got a few of these. I'll pick up what I can there and track the rest down online as I've never seen them sold anywhere else.

You can probably find the Classics Devastator giftset in any Walmart (i think Walmart carried this exclusive).
So you can pick that one up, if finding Contructicon Maximus, proves a little too difficult. As for Bruticus, he might be a little harder to track down the individual bots. But you should aim to find at least Blackout and Kickback. For the limbs they have the better color scheme, and you can just buy 2 of each and have a more color coordinated Bruticus. Unless you absolutely must have the limb repaints.
Ohh and yeah Bruticus looks the best when combined of all 3. and stays together the best also. Superion needs to much coaxing to get there.

The repackaged Universe basics. It's like Energon never ended.
But Energon Sky Shadow was never released in this way, so guess which Superion limb goes for ridiculous amounts of money on the secondary market individually?
