Just got him today. Man, that ebay seller ships fast. Anyway, what a difference a simple change in paint makes! My goodness, Jazz looks soooooo much better in his G1 colors. And I like the way they treated the window tint on him better than the original movie jazz toy. It looks better, and is a bit more translucent, which is actually an improvement. Otherwise, the figure is the same. Same weapon (which looks like a transmission if you look at it closely without it's gun barrel-er sword-whatever extended), same transformation, and same damned hands. But the paint job on him is marvelous, and really makes for a dramatic improvement on him all around. Oh, and I like that his wheels are painted all silver now. It looks less plasticky that way instead of the flat black in the spokes as before.

Get G1 deco Jazz. It's made of win. I agree that paint scheme makes him so much better. And with all these new movie chars..Hints at a possible cameo of em in the sequel? One could only help.

He has become my Classics Jazz. You can even pose him with his gun as a shoulder mounted weapon.

I'm using him as a Classic Jazz too. I really like this redeco. My local Target has about 20 of them in stock now, so they seem to be hitting in large numbers now. They have entire cases of them!

I guess he is really worth buying after all. On to the collectible show on Saturday!
