It begs the question... Why Blue???
When has Ironhide ever been Blue? Even his Beast Wars namesake wasn't blue.

D'oh! Red would be...what's the word I'm looking for?
Oh, yes, that's right...better!
Unless this is supposed to be Kup. Its obviously for the "Allspark power" line continuation, hence the ugly light blue. I could see it as a movie Kup, though.

I agree. I am willing to bet we will get a red repaint as a store exclusive at some point. I really like Ironhide so I will be getting this one!

Movie line '07 wins for "toy series with worse repaints ever!"
Aside from Evac and DA Brawl, there isn't a single one I like.

Well, the head's improved. But otherwise...meh.
I think I prefer him in black.

Yea, but at least they were honest with the Starscream, Jazz, and Ratchet mold by putting them in G1 colors. This is just, out there.

The head's even better once you turn it around 180 degrees. A little bit of paint, and you've got Trailbreaker, Grimlock, or even Soundwave.

Movie Skids?
...or am I the only one who automatically thinks of that when I see this repaint...

New Brushguard maybe?
I'm trying to place the color scheme, it seems familiar, but not. Dark blue, light blue and yellow... hmm...

I'm 99% convinced this is just a lame "Nightwatch Ironhide"

Wasn't he blue in Energon, or doesn't that count?

whoever who repainted Ironhide into blue, should be kicked in the nuts for not choosing red instead ;P
or maybe he was color blind?

(no offense to any color blind people out there, though)

This Ironhide isn't G1 Ironhide though.
Haha... what a fandom though. People complain when G1 color schemes are forced on to their movie namesakes (Jazz, Starscream & Ratchet) yet we also complain when a G1 color scheme ISN'T forced onto their G1 namesake (Ironhide).

Oh, and who ever confirmed this will be released under the name Ironhide? Couldn't it be a new character?

remold ironhide into a blue dump, so us G1'ers can take a dump down "bluehide"'s toy throat

lol

compaine is either losing control with these repaints or there making these trying to get make more money off these figures probally looks worse in red thats could be why hes blue.
not no big fan of repaints but the only repaint i liked so far was jazz all the others looked bad

I'm gonna be the gut to say it, but red would just plain look god aweful on this figure. If this looked like IRONHIDE from G1, I'd say yep, give us red.
But this is a new design with an old name that certainly would be even worse with the old color patterns as well!

I beg to differ, because i know for a fact he looks great in red, even with the old gold line down the side.
Doesnt look no worse than this stupid two-tone blue.
