Love MP5 Megs, but his face is just lacking something. Compared to the other MP figs his face is missing alot of detail. Just my humble opinion.

I think they mistransformed him...IIRC, in the older pics, his arms slided out, kind of like what they did to his legs to give them width.

Revoltech Megs looks hot! Much beter than Pat Lee Prime.
MP Megs, I don't lke his head, there's just something about it especially if you look at that angled pic.

I'm still getting him though.
Those Nikeformers are really growing on me.

I agree completely. He doesn't look right. It almost looks like he's depressed or pouting. He should be all kinds of sinister.

Love that one pic showing the WST Meg vs an actual P-38 and the MP-05. Great scale ratio pic. Love the figure. Can't wait!

Hey I've got this really stupidumb idea! Let's make a transformer that turns into a shoe! The best part is, when he's in robot mode, he'll also be wearing shoes. Awesome, right?
Wrong, kinda silly. What's next? Fork, knife and dinnerplate? Hey, they could be combiners!

I think I've pin pointed where the head has gone wrong.
1. He doesn't have a pronounced dark brow like g1 megs had. It made him look like he was unable to smile, made him look tougher.
2. He has space inbetween his cheeks and helmet. I don't ever recall seeing that as two seperate things.
3. He has a massive forehead. I mean that thing is huge.
Here's a little pic to show what I mean.

I also think it's great. I'm thinking this is also based of Pat Lees designs. If you look at the box art on the re-issue Megatron, you can see the resemblence. You can also see the weird little oval thing on Megs back, underneath the barrel.

I hope that Takara will label the MP Megatrons shipping to the US as a "US Safe" figure or something. First the whole cap ordeal and now they put the gun mode on the box to tip off customs as to what it does.

The red on Megatrons box realy steps the packaging up to a nice level!
I was afraid it was just going to be more of the same like the other MPs. It's close, but that red really adds a...
I'm gonna say, sophisticated feel

I am really liking MP Megatron. There are few things that could have been a little better, but nonetheless I will be getting him (and possibly two or three because I am greety).
From the photos it looks like his chest is made of metal. Horizontal grains seem to be present (something that you would see on metal).
The boxart looks pretty good, but I preferred the box art for MP-01 & MP-02, which just had the robot figure with the alt mode present.

One of the pictures has me a touch confused. Are they showing how megatrons head transforms near the back of the gun mode like the G1 version or does he have a G1 head transformation? I'm thinking it's not the latter of the two, but still it makes me wonder.
You know, looking at it now, it's just part of the transformation

Revoltech Megs is a thing of f**king beauty. I declare 2007 Year of the Megatron!
