So, I'll make this short and sweet. We had a new guy where I work. It was his first day and the guy was very nervous. The ''the building was shaking along with him'' kind of nervosity... The guy was obliviously quite upset about it. He wasn't doing very good. So I took 20 minutes of my time and helped the guy out. I rarely saw someone being so grateful in my life.

When the day was over, I went on and talked to him. While talking, he mentionned that he was a great Transformer fan and that he was also collecting. He invited me to go see him during the week-end to see his collection.

He's mainly focusing on G1, Classics and Alternators. And while looking around, I saw that he had some doubles. I asked if he was interested in selling any, and he said yes. I'm into Alternators right now. And I don't have alot really (Camshaft and rollbar..). So I was able to have Jazz, Tracks and Ricochet. Not the ones I really really wanted, but Tracks and Jazz are Saweet!

Moving on, still while looking, I saw that he had a double of the Transformer I was really after this past month. I was always wondering if I was to get him online or not. It was on my Must have list. The Toysrus exclusive G1 Reissue Soundwave. I really wanted that guy. So I went on and asked if I could also have him and he said yes! Joy, happiness and little birds everywhere!

But the greatest thing in this, is not the fact that I was able to have 3 awesome Alternators plus one of my absolute must have. The greatest thing was the price. $30! I'm not kidding. Since I helped him and all. He nearly gave me the figures!

You indeed never know how someone you help is going to thank you. In my case, it was one heck of a thank you.

I'm wondering, is something similar ever happened to you? Or was it the opposite, receiving a f*** you instead...

Great story. I traded one of my buddies(who doesn't really have the transportation to get himself to toy stores) a Movie Voyager Starscream, for Armada Megatron, Nemesis Prime, and Demolisher.

Yeah baby. Yeah.

Hey, great story, and congrats. He sounds like some one who can be a good friend too. That kind of stuff never happens to me. I swear, EVERY time I help some one, I'm the one who gets screwed. I still (foolish me) help people wherever and whenever I can. And I still get the same negative results. Oh well...

Sounds like me at work. Help someone and the boss asks why I'm not in my dept. and tries to say I'm a bad influence. Bleh, damn useless managers

Nope haven't got a story like that. A lesson to learn from this though...

A friend in need is a friend indeed ;)^

Well, it's a great story, but folks should keep doing nice things for people, with no intention of getting rewarded whatsoever.

A reward is certainly kind and generous as this was, but the best thing was you saw someone suffering and helped them out

KUDOs to you!
